I was thinking about Philippa Georgiou, and how she’s been sent back in time in the prime universe, and we know Yeoh is heading the Section 31 show so we can gather she gets her old job back no matter the time period she is taken back to, and she just needed to go backwards in general, not necessarily as far back as she was from.
So i was also thinking that it’d be really stupid to take her back to the time period disco Left from, because they didn’t do a convincing ‘she wasn’t Really dead’ the last time they pulled that trick and Everybody on discovery apparently just played along until they arrived in the future and literally Everybody was like ‘oh look it’s the emperor’. Nobody fell for that. They played along.
So, i feel like she will probably end up in a different time period, so we have either a totally unexplored period of time to look at Or her ending up say, idk, some time around when Picard is set. Though, she should absolutely cameo in lower decks, it’d be wild. She’d set Boimler’s brain on fire.
Anyway this whole post was born because i realised it’s very unlikely they will change her name in any way, so starfleet would have a Philippa Georgiou on their records Again, where she shouldn’t be; Again.
And it’d be really funny if she gets around this by saying her name isn’t Philippa Georgiou, it’s Philippaa Georgiou! Because the hilarity of her pulling that lie on starfeet intelligence? Amazing. And honestly? From how terrible their intelligence seemed to be in Picard era... I think they’d fall for it at any rate.
