If you are an American who is gay, lesbian, trans, or at all part of the lgbtq community, no matter your views on firearms, you need to get one. Trump has made it obvious he cares not about law and order, but being like Putin. So you need a gun to defend yourself. Because in some states they have stripped away discrimination laws protecting trans citizens. So i don't give a fuck if you are anti-gun, with the way things are going, you need at least a handgun to protect yourself.

I’ve been seeing some bullshit gun control posts lately about how people don’t need guns.
My mom, who hates guns, is gonna have my brother or papa teach her how to shoot a gun. She’s never shot one in her life. You know why?
Cause we live in the middle of nowhere in rural Minnesota and we’ve had strange people come driving down our driveway on multiple occasions. Despite no trespassing signs. There have been hunters on our property. Private property. One time, the tires were stolen off our vehicle. We also don’t get great cell service so the only way to gaurentee slow as fuck emergency services is our landline in the kitchen.
People have a right to defend themselves. My mom should be able to feel safe in our home, especially when she is home alone often (my dad is gone at work most of the day) and she often caring for little kids (under 9).
People who advocate for gun control have probably never lived in these circumstances.
