Though Nintendo claims it’s a “home system”, that statement belies all that the system really is. Though there is a dock to connect it to a television set for big screen game playing, the Switch can detach from the dock and be played just like a tablet, much like its Wii U predecessor.

But what sets the Nintendo Switch apart from all the other systems Nintendo has released? Well, maybe the fact that it is all the other systems Nintendo has released.

When connected to a television set, the Switch plays much like a standard Wii. Just like the Wii, you set up your system and use the controller to play.

The Switch can also go mobile. Detaching the system from the dock allows games to be played virtually anywhere. The controller detaches from its base, leaving the player with two controllers similar in shape to those used for the Wii. These controllers can be used wirelessly, or be connected to each side of the system.

Like the DS and 3DS systems, the Nintendo Switch also possesses a touch screen. How much said touch screen will be involved in some of the games to be released for it is, as of yet, unknown.

Peut-être qu’il est temps d’essayer quelque chose de différent. Une nouvelle approche.

Je ne sais pas si je vais réussir à me sortir de cette impasse artistique, mais j’ai bon espoir tout à coup (et je ne devrais pas parler trop vite, c’est en général dans ces cas-là que mon inspiration ou ma motivation s’envolent (sans doute la loi de Murphy, ou un truc du genre)).

Cette fois-ci, mon passage à vide a été (est ?) plus violent que d’habitude. Je me suis dit que, peut-être, je n’allais plus jamais pouvoir écrire, ou alors que je ne pourrais plus pendant très, très, longtemps. Je ne sais pas ce qui m’a fait penser ça. La venue de l’hiver, la nuit qui tombe de plus en plus vite, le froid, ma situation actuelle, toutes ces heures de train que je dois faire chaque jour pour aller en cours... Allez savoir. Toujours est-il qu’en quelques semaines, je n’ai pratiquement rien écrit, mis à part les deux articles de ce blog.

Mais maintenant, bizarrement, je suis prête à réessayez. Peut-être pas aujourd’hui, pas demain (je ne veux pas me forcer, sinon ça risque d’avoir l’effet inverse), mais j’ai eu le déclic. Je crois. Affaire à suivre, donc.

La plupart du temps, j’écris des fanfictions. J’en ai plusieurs en cours d’écriture, certaines dont les lecteurs réclament la suite. J’en suis navrée pour eux. Je les finirais, mais... Pour le moment, j’ai envie d’essayer autre chose. Si je tentais de finir ce que j’ai commencé, le résultat ne serait pas bon. Ce serait une torture autant pour moi que pour les lecteurs.

Je vais essayer autre chose. Des nouvelles, des trucs dont je n’ai pas l’habitude, des styles d’écriture différents... On verra bien.

Là, tout de suite, je suis plutôt optimiste.
