Today is October 7th, which means it’s time for our second check-in (and ohhh buddy, fall is flying by)!

Emails have been sent! We're asking that you respond to a couple of questions, and send us your WIPs, and we’ve already heard from several of you! If you haven’t had a chance yet, please let us know how everything is going. This check-in is mandatory! If we do not hear from you within a week you may be dropped from the fest.

If you did not receive an email, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll get in touch ASAP!

Remember, assignments for @hd-erised are due November 4th. That’s 4 weeks away! We hope that all is well and you're creating away! But if you are struggling, or considering dropping, please, please, please let us know as soon as possible. We are here to help!

Second Check-In

Hey guys! Time is flying. In a few weeks it’s already christmas! This means; It’s time for the 2nd, and therefore last, Check-In. You can check in from now until the 3rd of December. For this Check-In I need to know the following things; - How far are you? It would be awesome if you could say “I’m already 80% done, but that doesn’t work for everyone. If you already know that you are not finished by the 20th of December, please tell me directly. - Do you need any help?  - Do you have a preferred posting date (posting 20th of Dec - 29th of Dec., the slots for each day will depend on the preferred dates)? It would be great if you have two or three options for me. - Is there a date where you can not post? - Is your fic a multi-chaptered fic (this is important for your posting date!) - Do you want to post anon? If you are already finished, just tell me (maybe again), that you are finished and then continue with posting-dates etc. If you need a late posting date, please tell me why. That’s actually important as, depending on how many people need a late posting date, I will go by priority. Please take into consideration that it still could be that you receive a different posting date than the one you wanted. Please keep in mind; This is a “hard” check in! If I don’t have your reply by the 3rd of December your assignment will go to a Pinch Hitter as they need to work quite fast in those last days to get the assignment done. The last time I contacted a few people who were late - I don’t know if I can do it this time, too. So please do not count on a personal reminder. Hi everyone! This is your second check-in reminder! Check-in commences next week on the 19th of August and will end on the 25th of August! 

Your check-in requirements (for both artist and writer) are 50% of your current workload completed! As always, please let your guild leader know if you can’t make these dates! Happy creating!

Second Check-in on November 9th!

Greetings aspiring heroes and trainers!

As you may or may not be aware, the second check-in is coming up on November 9th. Check-ins will be done the same way as they were before,and you can CLICK HERE to check the details if you need a refresher. 

Some of you who have requested extensions have not yet sent in your first check-in. You may send in your progress for the second check-in alone if you'd like. 

Just like before, should you need an extension for this check-in, talk to one of the mods or send an email to [email protected] so we can make note of it. As long as there is communication, everything should run smoothly regardless. 

Writers are asked to have at least 3000 words while artists are asked to have around 50-60% of your piece done. 

Should you need to drop out for any reason, please contact one of the mods so that we can assign pinch hitters for your partners! Thank you so much for your attention, we hope to hear from you soon!

Reminder about Check-In #2

Check-In #2 is coming up July 22nd-29th.

This check-in is writers wordcount update (I let it slide for the first one that some people’s wordcount didn’t go, but I need to see progress on this one guys). 

If you’re keeping track of the schedule, you’ll also know that artists first drafts are also due. This first draft does not need to be a physical piece of art. It can be notes or quick sketches, just so I know that writers and artists are working together and coming up with some ideas at least. 

So, if you and your significant other (writer or artist) have not gotten in touch with each and started coming up with something, you need to do that this week!

There is no need for both writer and artist to email me with the info. Writers can jot down or attach the artwork/art draft in the email when they send in their wordcount update. 

I’ll send an email out July 21st with the particulars and if you guys have any questions, email or message the @1dbackforyoucollab or message me @irishsunshine-n-l-l-h (this one is connected to my phone so I can get back to you faster this way if you need me for anything). I try to check the collab tumblr every night between 9pm-midnight EST.)

Second Check-In

The second check-in form is going to be sent out via email in a short while.

Please note that if you DID NOT fill out the first form and you DO NOT fill out the second, you WILL BE DISQUALIFIED from the Exchange.

I want to ensure everyone gets their gifts on time and don’t want to go through the same debacle that happened last year which means me being less forgiving this time around.

The second check-in closes November 20 so make sure to have responses in by then!

CSBB Second Check-in!

The second check-in for the CSBB is April 30th! At this point, your goal should be to be 50% complete, or a minimum of 25,000 words!

Please send in your draft to our email by the end of the day on April 30th.

Subject line should be your Tumblr URL. Your draft should either be a Word document or a Google doc link. If you opt for Google docs, please make sure that it’s a link set so anyone with it can access the doc (that is, please do not just invite the CSBB account to view/edit).

VERY IMPORTANT: Please send in your draft by the 30th regardless of whether or not you’ve met the minimum word count.
