HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY TO ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER: ACROSS THE SECOND DIMENSION!!!!!!
(Approximately) ten years ago, I caught the last twenty minutes of this movie on Disney Channel, then proceeded to watch the episode that came on after (it was “My Fair Goalie”)…..and from that moment on, I was a Phineas and Ferb fan. I am so, so incredibly thankful for this film/show and all the wonderful memories I’ve made because of it over the past ten years.
I love Candace’s storyline in this movie, especially this scene. It’s just so powerful. And this is one of my favorite quotes from anything ever, so it seemed only fitting to draw it!!!!
It's so tragic that the kids in the second dimension are the ones that are fighting Doof. Like their ages range from nine to sixteen and they're the ones fighting to save their homes. How long has the rebellion been in place?? Was Candace fighting since Phineas and Ferb were babies??? How many children grew up inside the rebellion and how many remember a time before Doof was in power??? What about Candace meeting her other dimension counterpart??? Seeing herself in a world where she was allowed to be young and innocent able to freely feel comfortable and not spend every day possibly risking her life to save her brothers?? Would she feel jealous of her counterpart in any way, or angry at the fact that she never got that??? And how jarring it must've been to see her brothers so full of eagerness and happiness instead of fear,,,,
I miss her!
