The previous lives of Alma and Kanda.

Regarding Alma’s profession before she became an exorcist, her rail thin character design in the manga screamed ballet dancer to me.

As for Yuu, I imagined she was a child when the Order found her, but her late father was a skilled blacksmith, so she learned his profession too.

Also, both women because if Alma was female in his previous life, there's no reason to say Kanda wasn't either.

Okay, so which option do we think is more likely: the Black Order giving their horrible little lab-grown child soldiers fully functional genitals, or Kanda and Alma being actual Ken dolls down there?

Alma and Yuu The saddest part about Kanda and Alma's arc is the tragedy of knowing they fought and killed and suffered and died for their cause...and then the Order made them do it again.

So...Alma is transgender, right?

Canonically, Alma was a woman in 'his' previous life.  She was killed, and then the Order’s science division created the Second Exorcist version of her using her brain.

Sure, Alma was artificially created, not born, but at the core of it, he is still a male person (biologically) with the thoughts, memories, and identity of his former female self, so…wouldn’t that make her transgender?

Just saying, I'm sold on this headcanon.
