It's Valentine's Day, and Oscar and Lando aren't at the Olympics. --- Up close, Oscar can tell Lando's smile doesn't quite reach his eyes. He'd suspected as much from the slight softness in his voice—that he's pushing himself to be happy through the lingering pain of not being in Milan. Oscar doesn't take it personally. It's a shared pain after all, and no one's fault. "It doesn't all have to be today, you know," Oscar says. "It's just a made up holiday. We can do date night any time, or stay in. Besides, our anniversary is coming up soon, and that's more—" Lando interrupts with a kiss to the side of his mouth. "I know. I want to," Lando says. "It'll help, I think. For both of us, yeah?"
