Because I am forgetful and never know what day it is, I had planned a night out and thus was unable to vote and watch the second semi-final live like I wanted to. Turns out it doesn't matter since Switzerland made it through to the final~ My ball of sunshine made it~

I was also happy to see Slovenia, Austria, Norway, and Malta through.  I liked Finland too, and their style of music is similar to my likes (alternative rock).  And Romania.... that long note!  She pulls it off.  That and the circle piano.

I'm still not a fan of Poland or Belarus... Both have good voices, but I don't care for the beat of the songs (and the content of Poland's song seems a bit... shallow for lack of a better word).  Belarus, I actually really like his voice, but that beat... No.  That and he's anti-cheesecake. (I'm joking.)

I was a bit sad Ireland didn't get through. I actually really liked her song, and I love fiddle.  I might be a tad biased on that one since I just went to Dublin a few weeks ago and got to experience Irish music (with fiddle), and her song seemed like a modern song with touches of tradition.

Greece and Macedonia... I like both of their recorded versions, but the live seemed... off.  I think for Greece it was when they started jumping on that trampoline and one of the singers in particular sounded out of breath.  Greece made it through, but not Macedonia sadly.
