A Brief on Secondary Cataracts
This condition arises after the surgery for primary cataract. Almost 20% patients of the primary surgery get this. It does not refer to another cataract on the new lens. Further treatment is needed in case the secondary situation comes up.
The common symptoms as observed by the experts of the sunglasses store in Mauritius are:
> Getting a clouded vision again
> Colour vision going down
> Glares becoming intense
> Not being able to see far off objects
During the placement of the new artificial lens, some epithelial cells remain left behind at times in the lens capsule at the back of the eye. When these cells clump together, a secondary cataract is formed.
