[1975] Secret Visit // Remus & Sirius
It wasn’t Sirius’ brightest idea, but then again, when were his ideas ever bright? There was always a chance his parents could arrive home at any minute from their business trip and notice the intruder in their ancestral house. Sirius didn’t want to picture what they would do to him- or worse, Remus- if they found out he’d invited someone over without their permission. James would have been a better choice since he wasn’t a halfblood, but the Potters were on holiday and so were Peter and his family. Craving any sort of interaction from his mates, Sirius had invited Remus over on impulse.
Things weren’t so bad and there was no sign of imminent danger. They’d been in Sirius’ room for most of the afternoon, and when Remus returned from using the bathroom, Sirius was at his open window and halfway through a cigarette. “I was starting to think you’d gotten lost,” he chuckled.
