Secret Scones Posting Day Sign Ups
Please select the day when you would like to post your gift. (Try to choose a day when you are reasonably certain you will be finished). Please reply to this post or send an ask or PM to reserve your date. Again this is a first come-first serve basis, so if someone has already claimed that date, I may ask for an alternative date.
Because we have a small group, we’re going to try to limit posters to one person per day. Exceptions and Extensions can be given if absolutely necessary, but if possible, should be avoided.

Signups for the “Secret Scones” Holiday Fanwork Exchange are still open. Several people have already signed up to give and receive Fr. Brown fanworks to their fellow strawberry scones.

Secret Scones Sign Ups are now closed!
Now that sign-ups for the holiday gift exchange are officially closed, we can get started on the guidelines.
1. Remember that by signing up, you have indicated that you are willing to receive any type of fanwork, including but not limited to (short fic, longer fic, drabbles, fan art, graphics, gifs, fanvids, playlists)
2. If at all possible, try to accommodate at least ONE of scone’s favorite characters and/or ships AND at least ONE of their prompts. (Though don’t feel like you have to follow the prompt exactly as intended. Be creative :D)
3. In about 2 weeks, I will post something about reserving “posting day” signups. Because of the small group, it will likely be limited to one person per day. Posting days will likely be Dec 21-Jan1, though I might be persuaded to extend it.
Later today, I will dropping by everyone’s inbox with a number. In order to preserve anonymity, I have used a “random number generator” to assign partners. You can look up your assigned number on the list to find out who you’ll be creating for AND receive a direct link to their “wishlist.”

Holiday Fanwork Exchange
So a few days ago, I floated around a post about a possible holiday fanwork exchange for the Father Brown fandot, and as enough people were interested, it looks like we are definitely doing this.
As of right now, signups will be open until November 30 at 11:59 EST.
Just a few reminders/ground rules in order to make this the best possible experience for everyone.
1. If you want to receive a fanwork, you have to commit to giving a fanwork in in return. This is an exchange, and we want to make sure that everyone gets something.
2. Please be open to the possibility of receiving any medium of fanwork (art, fic,drabbles, fanvids, gifset, etc). Not everyone has the same talents, and it is important that we recognize and appreciate the talents of the fans we have. Even if you were secretly hoping for a drawing, don’t complain that your Secret Scone wrote you a nice ficlet instead. Plus, I’m planning on using our old friend the random number generator to pick assignments, as it’s easier and helps preserve anonymity a bit.
3. When it comes to “wish-list” prompts, try to keep them relatively general so that your creator does not feel restricted. (Ex: “Mermaids AU” is a much more open prompt than “I’d like an AU where Sullivan is king of sea who must sire an heir in order to pass on his line, Sid is his half-shark boyfriend, and Felicia is the visiting mer-queen who becomes his surrogate).
