Maybe someone can help me.... It's 32 days until I see taylorswift and all I want in the world is to meet her... It would mean everything, but I know there are so many other deserving people, but maybe I could be so lucky too?

The unassuming piece of stainless steel mesh in a lab at The Ohio State University doesn't look like a very big deal, but it could make a big difference for future environmental cleanups.

Personally, i think this is one of the best discoveries that science has made in recent years. The amount of damage we are causing to our ecosystem and environment is so large, and when oil spills occur, the damage is even worse. This technology will allow response teams to actually clean up spills efficiently, and this could be a game changer in many different fields. Due to the increase of fracking operations, and off shore drilling, the chances of spills are even greater, and having this as a backup is an amazing resource.

Rett syndrome is an absolutely horrid disease that effects a small percent of the population and is caused by a gene malfunction. the option that gene therapy offers is that instead of medication and therapy and surgery, victims may be able to bypass a great deal of painful procedures and medicinal side effects by instead trusting their treatment in gene therapy to try and reduce or even reverse their suffering, if successful gene therapy has the potential to erase the damaged gene from almost all of an individuals cells, essentially erasing their damaged genes almost like magic

They genetically modified mice to glow in the dark... so can my child do the same thing so i wont loose track of him at night? the fact that scientists have the ability to make a mammal a glowing organism is incredibly cool, but also sets the precedent for genetic modification therapy, and for cosmetic use of these technologies

A Chinese company was able to 3d print ten houses in a day, admittedly they were fairly bare bones houses, but 10 units in one day, that changes the game in terms of affordable housing for the poor to advanced operations bases for the military.

3d printers are now being used to totally manufacture independent organs, this is huge, especially for people who are on organ donation wait lists with no hope of receiving the treatment that they need

with breakthroughs in electric energy storage transportation using all electric technologies is becoming even more realistic for the masses. one thing tesla has done is shatter the stereotype that electric cars are for boring middle aged commuters with an environmental conscience. now motor heads and speed freaks alike can drive to the limits of physics and engineering while at the same time being environmentally responsible

drones have gone unregulated for far too long, in particular on american soil. the right to privacy, which has been established by sitting members of the supreme court, is potentially being violated by lay citizens and government employees or corporations due to drone use.
