Section Z - Capcom on Console

Section‑Z was ported to the NES in 1987 by Capcom as a sci‑fi side‑scrolling shooter that adapts the arcade’s corridor‑maze of Fortress Balangool for home play; the NES version puts players in control of Captain Commando  navigating branching sections, collecting and storing power‑ups (lasers, 3‑way cannon, shields), managing an energy/SMS system, destroying generators to open new paths, and facing multi‑stage bosses across its levels, delivering an arcade‑style challenge on cartridge and Famicom Disk System.
