Sorry that I have had so many long posts recently. I actually have cut them shorter than I would have liked. It seems I am still getting used to the blog style and I hope in time I will have the strike the right balance between frequency and quantity of posts. As a quick update on SECtION27 I am still researching the human right to food and at present I am looking at the experiences of other countries and seeing if any strategies could be useful in the South African context. I am also doing a bit of work with the right to education and should hopefully have a clearer sense of how I can contribute after the educating meeting on Friday. As far as the people at SECTION27 go, they are really welcoming and very experienced. Everyone seems to have a million things to do so I have not had a chance to chat to them all but hopefully i will over the next 17 working days. Wow, I can't believe I only have 17 working days left and only about 23 days left in South Africa. Time has really flown by. Speaking of flying, we have booked tickets to Cape Town! I am really excited about seeing Cape Town as I was unsure if we would get the chance. It will be an opportunity to relax and have a little bit of a 'holiday'.
Available Now! The new Split album from Dissolved and Nonima, "Foil Splinters". Two Scottish producers met amongst the ether of the internet and after a handful of remixes they finally produced this new prescription for the masses, Foil Splinters starts working immediately after the initial dosage, and sets off feelings of deja-vu to times you were a kid, but with sinister wooden Pegasuses licking your face for those polo mints in your pocket. Its addictive properties are currently unknown and results may vary. http://soundcloud.com/dissolved-1 http://dissolvedamberrooms.com http://soundcloud.com/nonima http://nonima.bandcamp.com http://section27netlabel.blogspot.co.uk
