Im gonna. Use this as an excuse to talk about Sector AU. Which I know you specifically know about but I haven't talked about it much on tumblr.

Okay so Sector AU is my PolyZITS X Rancher AU [Jimmy got added later. I mean. Look at him. Hes like Tango's wet cat. And Tango is his wet cat. I. Hhhhh]. I sort of havent settled on anything about sector au specifically yet because it's just kind of my 'I wanna think about my rarepair guys in situations' au but the gist of it for those who don't know. ->

Every guy in the relationship represents a different 'sector' of the MC Universe. Zedaph represents the End and is a sort of beetle hybrid sort of inspired by the endermites. He has the shielded wings, multiple arms, those big ass beetle...antannae? Antler? things? And the beady black eyes. He's also only like 4 feet tall. He's tiny. Bug guy.

Tango represents the Nehter [of course] though not as your standard Netherborn Tango guy, though it does pull from that a bit. He's sort of - a lizard? He [and zedaph] can skitter up walls and needs to be kept warm - going as far to swim in lava to do so. IDK man a lot of the nether creatures make me think of lizards. Instead of wings, tango has those like. Arm glider things some lizards have, along with the frills and the scaly skin. He still has the fire hair, though its almost like a mohawk in my head that goes down his back, w a lizardy tail to match. Charmander! He's charmander. he's also short, like 4'5, so not as short as zed but still. tiny.

Skizz is an avian, specifically a hyacinth macaw which are the biggest and strongest of the parrot species - and they're the deep blue parrot you can see in minecraft. I made him an avian bc i like bird guys but also idk man Skizz just fits the bird vibes. Everyone always makes him an angel to go with Impulse's whole demon thing and given Impulse this felt fitting to do. It should go without saying he's fucking massive. Like 6'8 massive or sometihng. big.

IMPULSE is a descendent of the Ancients, who still lives underground. I havent really figured out fully whats going on w him but Sculk Guy who isnt Quiet Human and is also tall but not skizz tall. Like a few inches shorter.

And then theres Jimmy, who's just a plain ol human who lives in the world and gets kind of sucked into their world. I imagine maybe that all of the servers these 5 interact on are like, continents in this world, and theres like some not-quite-server-fic shenanigans occurring where its like. They go on adventures and can interact with worlds they dont exist on [yet <- manifesting Hermit Skizz] and also they get to hold hands nad kiss maybe and tango and zed can climb everyone like a tree and its like

I have two very specific scenes in mind - Skizz teaching Impulse to fly w an elytra because he cant teach him FLIGHT proper but avians use rockets the same way elytra work where they glide back down so he can teach Impulse [And later - jimmy] to fly.

And then a second imagine of tango and Jimmy in a cave exploring and using Tango as a light source but because they arent putting down torches they get lost and a creeper blows up in their face and injures them and they have to make their way back to the other members of the polycule and its all a very daunting task and just. hhhh.

I was watching Impulse and Skizz's latest skyblock episode and got gripped so uhhhhh here.

"Impulse!" Skizz shouted. The sculk sensors around vibrated off one another but didn't reach a shrieker, which was well enough given Skizz had already summoned a warden. His wings flapped, panickedly, as he whipped around in total darkness.

Impulse laughed over their communicators.

"You should probably stop yelling," he said, casually, and Skizz made an undignified noise.

"Impulse I don't know how to get out of here!" he squawked instead. There was more laughter, even as the warden came up behind him. His death left behind dark blue feathers floating down to the sculk covered ground, and a few seconds later a pained noise came through Impulse's communicator as he hopped around the ancient city.

"Well now he's looking for me Skizz! Not very nice of you," Impulse said into his device, listening as the sensors around him picked up on all the noise he was making. It didn't matter, in the long run. They would have summoned a warden down here sooner or later.

"Not very nice of me?!" Skizz cried into the communicator. "After that Warden gets through killing you, I'm going to kill you myself! And then maybe I'll tell Tango and Zed about it and let them maim you!" His wings puffed up behind him as Impulse laughed and then shouted. The chase was on now, it seemed.

A thin, taloned leg clutched onto Jimmy's shoulder as the sheriff walked through the desert. The occasional flap of a wing kept him somewhat cool, he supposed, and that was nice with the sun beating down on his neck and back. He just didn't know why Grian insisted on riding on his shoulder as opposed to flying.

"You know, I would be making better time if you weren't riding on my shoulder," Jimmy said, looking up to where the short vulture avian perched, scanning the surrounding area.

"I'm keeping a watch out for danger. Besides, I'm not that heavy," Grian said, shifting his foot from one shoulder to the other. Jimmy glared at the path in front of him and scoffed, shaking his head before shaking his whole body with force.

"I am not a vulture carrying service!" he shouted, glaring up at Grian, now perched on a rock.

"Aw, but Tim, you were doing so good for the past hour. I would hate to take away from practicing your skillset," Grian said, chuckling as Jimmy turned from him and stomped off into the distance. He'd catch up later.

Okay so so so so. I've been trying to rotate the ranchers more lately so this one is off my Sector Au playlist -

I kind of feel like the lyrics speak for themselves but i also love media analysis SOOOOO - the idea that they came together bc of an accident and they made each other so so happy. The fact that they mightve not have ever paired up, that fate is what brought them together. I am,,,, i love them????

And then for ethubs, i am pulling directly from the rift au playlist for this one

I cant get into specifics but its the way theyre so messy in rift au. They have so much trauma woven together with each other, they always love each other but they always hurt each other. Hhhhhhh

What is the lore with Alfa and his mountain burrow :3c

Also, did Sector and Alfa meet the same way, or is how they meet change?

Some excerpts from an old journal they had :)

Alfa has been in that little burrow of theirs for a long time now, those trees they planted are what became the floorboards and other wooden fixtures around their home. There are many self portraits that they've painted over the years that decorate the walls. You'd think they had a long family dynasty with how many there are but its virtually impossible for them to start a family at all. (until Sector ;])

Sector and Alfa meet differently this time. They found him lost in the woods near their home and so guided him away to that nearby town that they kept an eye on and helped him settle there for a while.

After some life threatening situation Alfa ended up taking Sector into their home to help him out. While he was recovering and just kind of getting his bearings Sector ended up wanting to stay with them and liked it better than in the town or anywhere else they offered to help him settle. (Alfa also got attached so it worked out in the end uhjasdf)

Just some AU RP things, where Dante works as a guard at a place and was unfortunate enough to be guarding the wrong room a the wrong time, ended up losing his arm and so it had to be replaced. And of course it’s likely not the best thing for a guard to have such stuff happen as it may make others question your capabilities. He could always refer to it as an experiment etc. but for now he’s just too embarrassed and hides it whenever possible
