Hey so I was wondering about what the character dynamics are like with your Lex oc’s and also what’s the plot for their story, (sorry if this is a lot)

Oh man that IS a lot anon, I don’t know how far I want to reveal because I’m hoping to one day be able to do something with these characters and I don’t want to give anything away.

As far as plot-wise goes, the whole story revolves around Lex Hart, a nervous 14-year-old boy with unnatural light, salmon-colored hair and his journey to becoming, what can only be described as, a superhero. 

The premise, as best as I can sum it up without giving it away, is that there are these [redacted] that are pretty much 100% radioactive and are spread throughout the earth. When the general population comes into contact with these [redacted], which are later called O.M’s, they die, because coming into contact with something so potently radioactive will do that to a person. However, there is a small, and I mean 0.000001 percent small, chance that adolescents (between the ages of 12 and 19) get their hormones and DNA all wacked out from the radioactivity and they change. (They basically get superpowers, but like weirdly specific and not all DC/MARVEL blown out kinda superpowers) These Youths are called Oddities.

There is a secret scientific organization, called ODD Co. who studies these O.M’s, who are very interested in Oddities and what specifically about them that makes them able to withstand the radioactivity and basically not die. Thus, ODD Co. makes it their priority to find these Oddities spread around the world and ‘collect’ them in a sense to study and maybe even train them to better hone and use their abilities for good. 

Now, ODD Co. has basically influenced most of the world's government and has convinced them to tell their people that these O.M’s are super freaking dangerous and that people should avoid them at all costs. (Which is pretty much the truth. Most everyone who comes in contact with O.M’s DO IN FACT DIE, so the pretty much all governments were like, yeah, of course, we’ll keep an eye out and make sure no one touches them.)(However, ODD Co. never disclosed that there is a small chance O.M’s turn random teens into super-powered humans, because that could get out of hand real fast and who knows what the government would do with that information)

Anyway, ODD Co. still needed a way to track down these Oddities without drawing unwanted attention as to why from most governments, so a system was built that, every child entering highschool (for all 4 years) has to take a test to ensure that they aren’t radioactive. (Basically to put fear into people that they could be sick from possible O.M exposure and needed to be tested, but really they are just checking to find possible Oddities who are hiding in plain sight because the knowledge of Oddities existing is unknown)

The story starts with Lex being tested positive for O.M poisoning his first day of high school, and being taken away by specialists. Except that Lex has never been in contact with an O.M. And he doesn’t have any superpowers. But for whatever reason, everyone at ODD Co. is treating him like possibly the most powerful, and dangerous, Oddity in existence.

And that's where we pretty much have Book One.

There are a LOT of characters in the universe, I’ve only drawn a FEW of the main ones that Lex interacts with. Most notably Lucus, his older brother. While at ODD Co, he meets a lot of characters (characters like Adrian Bishop, Danny De Eroe and J Lee Hung) He becomes really good friends with two other Oddities, Damian McKenzie (who just goes by McKenzie) and Riley Semenov. In book 2, he meets even more Oddities but becomes good friends with Skyler Valez and Ayita Walker (Ayita is an eventual romantic interest) I would consider McKenzie, Riley, Skyler, and Ayita to be Lex’s BFFs, along with his brother Lucus, and most of the books involve their interactions with Lex. 

I’ve changed the book a lot over the years, so a lot of the old art and head cannons I had for my OC's have changed (so don’t go looking them up on here cause most of it is wrong now) But I hope that was informative enough! I love these dumb children so much, they’re my babies and some of my oldest OC’s <3

Her boys love her to death and everyone knows that she’s the most badass babe there is and people would line up just to get their butts handed to them by her.

Oh gosh anon… that’s like, a 400 hundred book answer… I don’t want to reveal too much about my children, since I am currently writing a book… But I guess I can somewhat give out a few tidbits about them.

Lex Hart is the 17yo less-than-heroic protagonist of the story. After discovering his Oddity accidentally, he gets dragged into a war that he never wanted to be a part of and forced to use his Oddity of “good”?

Lucus Hart is Lex’s 20yo older brother. He doesn’t have an oddity, but after his baby bro gets kidnapped and forced to risk his life for the “greater good”, Lucus does everything he can to find his brother and do anything he can to protect him.

Adrian Bishop is the 19yo team leader of Sector S, a branched off part of the government developed specifically for retrieving Oddities and Oddity Stones. He was the one who “recruited” Lex to join forces and end the war between the Oddities. He’s easily the most level headed of the group despite not having a very strong Oddity, but it was his skill at being able to diffuse Danny during one of his “episodes” that bumped him up to leader and to Sector S.

Danny De Eroe is the 18yo loose cannon. Having been discovered in Spain after a particularly awful episode, he’s considered a rogue in Sector S, the only one with that title. And rightfully so, considering he is easily the most powerful Oddity ever created. However, his power comes at much too high a cost, so he usually only goes on OR missions when it is absolutely critical. He usually tries to keep a calm and happy demanor, despite everything they’ve been through, and the only person he ever seems to let get close to him is Bishop.

June Lee Hung is the oldest Oddity in Sector S, at 20yo, they were recruited from Korea at a young age when Oddities all around the world were being discovered. With the unusual exception of Danny, June Lee is the more skilled agent and fighter of the government branch. They’re usually very happy go lucky and cheeky, and tends to like picking on their team members when they aren’t training for their next OR mission. Their favorite person to pick on his McKenzie.

Damian McKenzie, a hot tempered, Scottish 15yo, is easily the feistiest member of Sector S. Even though he technically has a very potentially strong Oddity, he has no idea how to use/control is. His usefulness, however, lies in his abnormally large IQ and skill for hacking and working with computers, which is mostly the reason he is involved with Sector S, despite having an Oddity. He’s ends up being Lex’s best friend, after having hated the pink haired “wimp” for a good part of Lex’s stay at Sector S. (Mostly because Lex had a small crush on Riley, who McKenzie has the biggest crush on, the freaking loser) He prefers to go by his last name, and only Riley is aloud to call him Damian.

Riley Summers is the youngest out of the group, being only 14yo. She was born blind, but after developing her Oddity, she became one of Sector S’s most valuable members, due to her ability to locate anything Oddity related. She was the reason why Lex was discovered. She’s also a very soft spoken and gentle person, and has the looks and features of a beautiful doll. Since she’s not very strong, and often the target of other organizations for her useful Oddity, the other members tend to become very protective of her, expecially McKenzie.

Ayita Walker is the first Oddity Lex met that wasn’t part of some organization. This 16yo was saught out by others for her potentially raw Oddity that, if used correctly, could be used as one of the more powerful Oddity weapons, along with Danny’s. However, like Lex, she wants nothing to do with Oddities, and puts up a stubborn fight whenever she is forced to use it. Together with Lex, they form the first rebellion to anything Oddity related.

For the most part, those are the main characters that I want to share. There are obviously other characters, but I don’t want to reveal anything about them atm. =)

do you have any gay OCs? Or trans OCs idk I'm just wondering

I’ve been wanting to add a trans OC to the Lex Hart story for awhile now but I haven’t been able to put in a good character yet to fill in the position! But I plan to eventually! =)As far as gay OC’s go…

Introducing Sector S! The outcasts of outcasts and Lex’s faithful yet lousy group of friends and team mates. How they get anything done without strangling each other is a miracle, despite them coming really (and I mean really) close.

Lex is constantly amazed by them (if not sometimes terrified)
