#FromTheSidelines Chomping away bit by bit against Texas A&M in Game 1 of the NCAA Super Regionals, the Gators stayed patient, never gave up, and it paid off. The Gators were two runs down heading into the bottom of the 7th. Amanda Lorenz brought it within one with her one-out homer to right. Aleshia Ocasio's bases loaded walk tied the game 4 all. And then Janell Wheaton drew a two-out bases-loaded walk that brought in the go-ahead run for the Gators to take Game 1 of the 3 game series. Game 2 first pitch is scheduled for Friday 7pm. The Gators need to win one of the next two games to return to the Women's College World Series for the ninth time in the last eleven seasons.
