SEDA is built on applied, interest-based curriculum models delivered in industry, the community, and the real world, and is supported by knowledge-based and hands-on learning in classrooms. We use real projects, hands-on learning and real health career experiences as an extension to the classroom. For our economy, sports represent a billion-dollar business. But what you might not realize is the immensely positive impact sports have on local economies, mainly through tourism dollars. Events like marathons can boost the city's economy to millions.

The practical experiences provided allow you to understand the type of roles in the sport and recreation industry and the attributes that employers seek.
