WHO: lukas and sedona ( @waywardcruz & @sedonamullins )
WHERE: wherever spring break is happening. fuck if i know.
WHEN: first day of spring break? again, fuck if i know.
What: sappy shit. seriously, trigger warning: sappy shit.
Sedona: "Last ride. 5:45." The voice of the guide pulled Sedona from her train of thought, concerning the quickest way she could get back to shore, should the boat somehow sink or break. She looked over her shoulder, for there were only two other people waiting in the same line as she, only they were the definition of an old school romance; nearing the age of sixty and donning on one another as if their last few years depended on it. "That's us." Sedona hollered, shifting her head to the left, welcoming Lukas into her trail of vision. "Remember," Sedona eased back into her highly neurotic rant. "If I fall in, make sure to grab the life jacket that I brought in my bag." She raised her beach bag. "And if you see a shark coming for me....well, tell Maya that she's in charge." The last bit was obviously a joke, though one would be unable to tell the difference in the shaky and somewhat fearful manner that they spilled out. It was at this point that the group and guide had successfully made it onto the boat; Sedona looked around for a comfortable spot. "Where do you wanna sit?"
Lukas: Hazel hues boring into the back of an old man's head, it wasn't so much that he was annoyed at the older gentleman as it was that he rightfully felt the spry old bastard had jumped ahead of both him and his girl despite having seen them coming. Pulled from his stare as the tour guides voice rang out only to be followed up shortly by Sedona, Lukas shifting his gaze to her softly smiled at her before tentatively reaching out to clasp her hand. “And if I fall in, take lots of pics. If I'm gonna be killed by a dolphin I want it documented with you screaming terrified in the background. Got do it big, make people want to watch it. “ He joked morbidly before nodding his head to show that despite the jokes he got her. “Why does Maya get to be charge? Think I'd be better at leading the girl's than her. They could look up to me.” Intertwining their fingers before giving her hand a soft squeeze, knowing how much open water scared the woman but still wanting to be close to her, he tugged their joined hands closer inviting her to come closer to him while ultimately leaving the decision to her as they boarded the boat. “Where ever you're comfortable. I'm not picky.”
Sedona: She snorted in bemusement. "....Not funny." Despite the unevenness of her voice, Sedona could still appreciate a good-natured joke. The clasping of their hands was a lowkey reminder that she wasn't alone, and she thoroughly appreciated it. It's a miracle in itself that she hasn't lost her shit....yet. "For one, Maya knows how to deal with period meltdowns. You....you do not." She offered the couple a small smile as they passed. "Besides, you would /so/ take advantage of the power. The girls wouldn't know whether to hate you, love you, fuck you, help you - the list is endless." Welcoming his touch, Sedona took a step closer, despite the collective warmth that came as a result of his own gesture in pulling her form in. It was a silent thanks, as she wrapped one of her arms around his waist. "Hm." Her eyes narrowed, taking in the boat and its entirety. "How does the front sound? I know it's not ideal, but that way we can spot our demise ahead of time." She winked, untangling herself from his grip long enough to pull him in the direction of the preferred spot; close enough to see the dolphins, but far enough for Sedona to feel somewhat at ease. Lukas: “Bit funny.” He countered playfully. “We dated. I know how to deal with those too. Chocolate, belly rubs, something nice and warm that settles in your stomach for dinner and uh, netflix. Maybe something soft and heated and pain pills. I know a bit, give me some fucking credit.” He teased, chuckling as he attempted to prove her wrong. In all honestly, he knew how to deal with her at that time, a bunch of other woman though? He'd probably have a melt-down himself from the stress but he could attempt it. “Sure a good portion of them would hate me but if you just died tragically in a boating accident really don't think I'll be looking to fuck for a while there so-” He cut himself off with a shrug. Sure, they could still feel those things for him but it wasn't as if he was gonna to act on it or encourage it as she had said. In this hypothetical scenario the possibility of him being able to get over her enough to pull himself together to care for them girls was an unlikely one. Smiling as she came closer and wrapped an arm 'round his waist, following her gaze as it darted 'round the boat, the omega seeing no alternative nodded his agreement at her suggestion. “Like the titanic. See the iceberg as we go running right into it. Stare our doom right in it's face.” Missing her the moment she was no longer pressed against him as she pulled back, pouting all the while she pulled him along, he obediently followed after her as she steered him toward the front. Getting close enough to lean over the railing, Lukas looking down into the sea before moved to take a seat, his feet coming down between the bars to dangle off the side. “Think we'll actually see anything at this time? Getting pretty late.”
Sedona: Her smile faltered, but only an inch. "Why? Why the Titanic, Cruz?" She shoved at his shoulder, though she knew that her shove would do little to alter his stance. He was a big, tough, sturdy jock and she - well she was an hundred and fifteen pound form of flesh and scorn. "And just so you know - the chocolate thing, it's a myth. The only thing that can cure a cramp is something heated and a nice belly rub. And even then, in the midst of the pain, I don't want my boyfriend rubbing me down." Sedona followed his lead, feet positioning between the bars of the boat and bare air. Although, unlike her ex, Sedona was slow in her attempt, eyeing the open water with a silent hatred. "I really hope so." Her eyes stayed align with the water as she wiggled around, attempting to ease herself into some form of comfort. "If not, well, we tried." She shrugged off the possibility with a small chuckle, a nervous chuckle. "I'm glad you decided to come. I don't know what I was thinking when I signed up for this."
Lukas: Chuckling as she playfully shoved at his shoulder, making sure to be gentle as pushing her over the rail wasn't a desired result he pushed back at her, softly jostling her. “We're not going deep into the sea. Doubt there's gonna be any icebergs around but even if we go down, I'll find you a door or something. You know I got you.” Mumbling his last sentence as it admittedly came out sappier than he had originally intended, he continued talking, his eyes narrowing in confusion as she touched on the 'b-word'. “Boyfriend.” He repeated with a nod of his hand. “What if this boyfriend of yours happened to be like good with his hands? Still no rub down?” Taking her hand once more as she slid down beside him, albeit slowly and with more caution then he had done, Lukas once more softly squeeze at her hand silently allowing her to know that his previous words did hold a ring of truth to them despite them not currently going down on a sinking boat. He did have her. “If not then we'll try again or something. Go earlier, maybe and with more people. That way if shit does happen, we can toss them in the line of fire. Save ourselves while sacrificing them.” Chuckling at his own joke like a fool before quieting down at her soft admission, he nodded his head before shifting closer to her. “Glad I came. I like dolphins. Never seen one but, I heard they're cool.”
Sedona: "My hero." She feigned a look of adoration, both in mockery and appreciation. "While you're at it, find me a Leonardo DiCaprio to go along with the door." She returned the squeeze, signaling that while she was free to poke fun and jest around, it still meant more to her than she'd let on. In a way it was her way of saying the words that she couldn't bring herself to say aloud. "Okay. If my boyfriend was able to work wonders in regards to cramps, then by all means - rub away." Her thumb began to absentmindedly rub atop his own as she continued to speak. "Although, said boyfriend cannot get upset when I begin to bitch about how bloated I feel." It was universal knowledge that every female turns into a male's worst nightmare come those select few days of the month; a raging demon in every sense of the word. " -....I'm gonna stop you right there. I refuse to do this again - it's now or never." Her legs tensed up, curling around the bar as the boat jolted, starting off into the guide's desired direction. "See." It came out as a whine, in slight fear of what it would mean if she tried to move closer to Lukas. Nonetheless, Sedona tried to appear unfazed, particularly following his next words. "No kidding? Well, you're in for a treat. They're great. They're the only animals to fornicate for pleasure - besides us and primates." The words were a play-by-play of the dolphin documentary she watched - avidly she might add - before she left for spring break. "They also have some sick vision outside of the water. Like human level vision."
Lukas: “Regular 'ole Hercules.” He jested, before lifting up and flexing the arm that wasn't currently clutching her hand. “Not satisfied with me?” He questioned, his tone remaining playfully though there was a part of him that wanted to know if she was or not. It was always a concern of his when it came to Sedona if he was enough for her or not and that concern had little to do with sex and more so to do with him just satisfying her emotional needs. He knew he was a bit stunted or even slow in that area. He fucked up a lot, he did and he could admit to that but it wasn't like he didn’t try. As if he didn't attempt to be more there for her, understanding for her, and just better in general for her. Yet, despite how he tried, it still happened to be a concern of his as nothing he did ever seemed to be good enough for her. “I'd certainly try to work wonders and I damn sure wouldn’t complain.” Forgetting to phrase his question in the form of some hypothetical way, he answered truthfully cause he damn sure wouldn't complain. “Fine, now or never. Fingers crossed them assholes actually show up then.” Taking hold of the bar himself as the boat jolted so he wouldn't go sliding off into the sea. Knowing of her fear, he scooted closer to the point where his shoulder was brushing up against hers. Leaning somewhat into her while still attempting to maintain some semblance of space so it wasn't as if he was forcing his presence on her, he gave her hand another squeeze before adjusting their joined hands to lay atop his leg. “Ignoring why you remember and looked up that particular bit of information, I like dolphins a lot more now. Human vision sucks though. Wouldn't describe it as sick.”
Sedona: "Oh yeah? I mean, you certainly have the muscles." She retorted, nose scrunched up in mock distaste. The urge to reach out and poke at the flexed arm was prevalent on her mind, though refrained from letting go of the one hand she had clutched to the bar, whilst the other was still in the care of Lukas. "If I wasn't...would I be here? With you? Do you even have to ask?" The response was genuine, with it being the only emotion sprawled across her features. If her words weren't clear, she squeezed his hand again in order to reassure that this wasn't a game - this wasn't some test. Sedona WANTED to be here, with him. "Ha." Her eyes trailed downward, shifting focus to that of the uneven motion of the waves; a threatening serenity. "Fingers crossed." She repeated his words, hues scanning the water, hoping that she'll catch sight of a fin or two. "Do you thin - " A familiar jolt of electricity pulsed through her body as she felt him scoot closer; form-to-form. It was unintentional, but Sedona was quick in shooting back a look of confusion, hues trailing downwards to where her hand now sat. "...I'm a dork?" She never looked up from their hands. "Do you think that dolphins have....someone?" Her hues traveled upwards, catching his gaze. "Okay. That was a shitty explanation." She chuckled softly, head shaking in attempt to brush off the rush of emotions that currently pooled in her chest. "Like..." It was then that she let go, her hand now rolling in gesture as she tried to place the word on her tongue. "Okay. So you know that episode of FRIENDS where Phoebe keeps going on about how Ross was Rachel's lobster? Do you think anyone has ever been like 'oh! he's her dolphin?'"
Lukas: “Just need the flying horse now and you know, the girl I'm traveling to hell for and we're all good, right?” He added in, before ducking his head down, his gaze shifting to the sea as he listened to her speak. “I dunno, would you?” He asked, his eyes remaining downcast as he watched the waves crash against the front of the boat and wondered just how quickly he could let go of her hand and just slide on out of there if this conversation turned far too awkward for him. “I kinda do since I'm not really sure most days.” Choosing to reply with honesty then to brush off the conversation or reply with his usual sarcasm, the omega not daring to look her way least he find she was joking leaned into the railing, pressing his chest up against the bars before hanging his head over one of them. Comfortable in their silence as the conversation seemed to come to a lull, when she finally spoke up, Lukas no longer attempting to find some sort of movement in the water shifted his head to meet her glance. “You're a dork.” He confirmed, with a light chuckle. “I don't really know friends, Sedona but I guess I know what you're getting at?” Brows furrowed in his confusion, he continued. “I think they might? I dunno, I don't really know dolphins but like every creature got that one other they care for, you know?”
Sedona: "You can probably snag both of those necessities on eBay." The boat ceased its normal speed, coming to a slow drift as the shore become all the more distant. It made sense. What kind of dolphin would willingly pop it's tiny fin out so close to shore, so close to the fishermen who would make a quick buck in catching and dissecting the creature for that very same fin. "I don't know." She shrugged. "I go back and forth." Her eye-line shifted towards the couple behind her, both clearly involved in the presence of the other - it was both adorable and nauseating. It wasn't until they caught on to her stare that Sedona smiled brightly and diverted her focus, his response to her latter words clearly less desirable on her part. "Well, you should. It's a great show." She huffed, putting both hands on the railing as she watched the guide approach the couple with the intention of showing something - a promotional brochure undoubtedly. "Forget it. I'll just ask the guide." She reached into her back pocket, pulling out the same brochure that the guide was currently reading off to the elderly couple. "Oh! Look at that. They have a souvenir shop. How cute."
Lukas: “Rude.” He muttered, eyes rolling in their sockets as she once more turned something he had been quite serious about into a joke. Honestly, when they said he was the immature one in the relationship he had to doubt them at times. There were times when she was much worse than him. Grip on the bar loosening as the boat slowed down, Lukas dropped his hand back into his lap. “Between being satisfied with me and between being not?” He asked, the question a rhetorical one cause as soon after the words slipped from his lips be followed them up with a softly spoke 'right' and nodded his head once more. “Good to know.” He murmured under his breath as his gaze remained on her face despite her own gaze shifting to the rude elderly couple. Staring unabashed at her face as he was allowed to do so without consequence for the moment, he merely hummed his supposed agreement at watching this 'friend's show rather than give a verbal reply. Hazel hues remaining glued to her even as she continued to look anywhere but at him, Lukas rolling his eyes once more as she took out the brochure and proceeded to look at it was quick to pull it free from her hands before flicking his wrist and tossing it out into the sea. “Ask me. Just give me a few more details. Been knocked on my ass once too many times. What about what with dolphins?”
Sedona: "Hm. That's interesting. You wouldn't expect a souvenir shop to sell pret-" Her words trailed off, eyes widening as the piece of paper was snatched away and discarded for the waves to deal with. "What the hell was that for?" She couldn't give a shit about the piece of paper, but suddenly felt bare without her shitty excuse of a conversation blocker. She bit down on her bottom lip, hues ablaze with misplaced annoyance. "Ask you what?! I told you, I'll just ask the guide whenever he gets talking to King Charles and Queen Elizabeth over there." She'd toss up her hands in a futile attempt to disperse from the conversation if she weren't already terrified to loosen her grip from the railing. "I don't understand why I try." The building frustration was to blame for her sudden confidence; if she was to die on this boat, she might as well lay everything out in the open. In that, her gaze held firm, unlike the previous moment shared minutes ago. "I was TRYING to reference the relationship between Ross and Rachel. You know - the same Ross and Rachel that were totally epic and had the reoccurring saying about them being each others 'lobsters'." It clearly wasn't clicking. "Like, soulmates? I was TRYING to be cute and use the dolphins instead of the lobsters because WE are currently dolphin watching." She trailed, watching to catch some form of reaction before she tossed him over board and rid herself of the embarrassment altogether. "Forget it, Luk." She murmured, closing her eyes to regain some form of normalcy and grace. "I shouldn't have said anything, my bad. Alright?"
Lukas: “You know what it was for.” Tone calm even as she snapped at him, used to her outbursts by now and knowing exactly how this day would turn out if he allowed himself to be roped in by her quick tempered bullshit he did what he could to not get riled up. Tensing as she seemed to grow more frustrated with each passing second, the omega rolled first his shoulders then his neck to try and relieve the tension he could feel building within him. He wasn't the type that could take being yelled at for very long. Sedona knew this, it was often why despite his supposed resolve every serious talk they attempted ended in an argument but as with every argument, he was trying to not allow this one to turn out like the others. He did want have a serious talk with her, he was interested in what she had to say, and he was fucking trying to be better. Trap remaining shut as spoke of her frustration, knowing something would eventually come from his prolonged silence if he just remained patient continued to do so, despite each word that escaped her lips causing his eye to twitch in mild annoyance. Releasing the breath he had been holding as she finally got to work explaining exactly what she had meant, he was unable to stop a smile from creeping up onto his face as she explained what she had meant. “You saying, you think you're my dolphin?” He teased, releasing the hold he had on her hand to wrap his arm around her shoulders and pull her in before she could react negatively to his teasing. “Not your bad. You're my dolphin too, alright?”
Sedona: "And now you're smiling. Look if you do -" It was now Sedona's turn to go mute, to listen as he went on make sense of the ramble barf that she had thrown at him. My dolphin. She should laugh in the face of the corniness of her words, but Lukas' smile was infectious and Sedona couldn't help but drop her shoulders - drop her well-armed wall of defense - and relax. "Really?" She looked the part of a kid who'd just been handed the gateway to candy-central, her previous demeanor now dissolved to nothing more but domestic bliss. "I'd like to point out that I realize how silly it sounds now that you've said it." Sedona, unbeknownst to the logical neurons firing in her brain, let go of the railing. She positioned her form so that she faced Lukas, both arms coming up to wrap around his neck, pulling him in close. "I'm shitty, I know. You just drive me....insane." The definition of a passive aggressive nightmare. "Will you be my dolphin, Lukas Cruz?"
Lukas: Feeling her relax under his grip and seeing as the tension that had previously had her grinding her teeth in frustration leave her in that instant, just knowing that he had for once said the right thing from her reaction could only smile wilder and nod his head in confirmation at her muted question. “Really.” He confirmed, the sappiness of the situation having not been lost on him even as she went out of the way to bluntly point it out. Generally being in such a situation would have had his skin crawling, however with Sedona it was different. He allowed himself to be different and as lame as it was, knowing they were finally being able to work on things even in such a fashion was more than enough for him to put up with sap. Shifting back from the railing as to allow her room, Lukas adjusted the hand that had been wrapped round her shoulder and moved it to wrap round her waist as she circled her arm's 'round his neck. “But that's good, yeah?” He asked, a confused expression briefly coming over his features before once more shifting into that of happiness at her question. “That is extremely sappy. I need you to know this. I gotta make that clear.” Laughing as each word slipped from his lips, Lukas knowing this whole thing was as sappy as it could possibly get squeezed her hip before nodding his head. “I'll be whatever the fuck you want me to be, Sedona. Dolphin, lobster, McDreamy... whatever. I just wanna be with you, okay?”
Sedona: Relief spread from one end of her body to the next, as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders after a year of royal fuck-ups, regretted one night stands, and missed opportunities. Lukas' comment about the level of sappiness wasn't misplaced - they were currently pulling all the stops of becoming the most cringe-worthy couple. But did she give a shit? Fuck no. Let them talk, so long as she gets to keep this moment alive. "Extremely." All she could do was laugh, a genuine, melodic laugh. "In all fairness, I was just about to throw you overboard." Her hues shifted to the contents beyond the railing, although quickly retreated back to Lukas. "McDreamy is totally off limits." She pulled back, not far enough to leave his proximity but enough to add context to her next sentence. "Unless you admit to being Patrick Dempsey this entire time, I don't see you pulling of the title of McDreamy." Inwards she went, closer if it were humanly possible. "McJock, maybe." She leaned forward, pecking the edge of his jawline. "Okay." Her lips traveled upwards, placing small pecks as she trailed up, settling on a final peck on his earlobe. "I missed you."
Lukas: Inclined to agree with that extremely as they were setting new fucking records with this emotional display, the only thing besides her giving a fuck about him back that he cared about was that none of the other omegas were here to see this shit and it was less likely to be heard about unless either the guide or the elderly could started running their mouth and he had a plan if the elderly couple started doing so. Lukas wasn't afraid to push a couple of old people over a railing. “Rude.” He muttered, his eyes rolling for the third time as she admitted to throwing him over to possibly be eaten by either sharks, dolphins, or killer fucking whales. She was a gem, a real keeper. “And again, with you being rude. Way to kill my vibe.” He joked yet again as she leaned in, his gaze shifting between that of her lips and her eyes as she attempted to make up for her previous remarks. “Better. How about McAwesome?” He breathed out, voice soft as she placed feather light kisses along his jaw. Breath leaving him in heavy pants as she trailed upward, Lukas tilting her head to allow her better access only pulled back at her soft admission. “I still love you.”
Sedona: "Chill. They have playlists for these types of vibe kills. I'll be sure to give you a solid recommendation." She shot back, brows raised in a 'bitch i am your vibe' display. Her head tilted, eyes feigning a look of contemplation before she decided on a shrug. "McAwesome it is." She pecked him - for what felt like the hundredth time in the past minute. "We'll get you a name-tag and everything." Her breathing hitched, eyes hooded with an unfamiliar weight. "Luk..." Her hues froze as the hands that were draped around his neck slithered downwards to his shoulders. "...I...you know. It's always been you."
Lukas: “How bout you just don't kill my vi-” Breaking off into a chuckle at the look she gave him, he squeezed her waist yet again to show he was merely playing. Fist pumping with his free hand as she agreed to the silly little name, the omega smiled into the peck she gave him before nodding along. “So if I'm McAwesome, who are you?” Shooting off the question just before she reacted to his admission of love, the smile that graced his features ebbed away as he watched as she reacted. Shaking his head as she stated the same in a roundabout way, having put his own feelings on the line as much as it meant to him that she was trying, he wanted to hear the actual words. “That's not quite saying it back, Sedona. I love you. I still love you. Even after all the bullshit I never stopped love you. It's always been you too and I enjoy hearing that but I wanna hear... you know? Tell me I'm not alone in this whole love thing.”
Sedona: His question pegged an interesting inquiry. "Hmm. Can I be McDork? I think it fits well. What do you think?" A silent reminder that whilst he was free to call her by any given nickname of similar context, it should remain between them. Least any of the girls overhear and assume she's gone completely out of whack. 'Cause despite everything - including every brick on her perfectly paved wall - Sedona had a reputation to uphold. It's only when Sedona is in the proximity of Lukas or Maya that she permits her wall to drop. Case and point: Lukas' shameless confession. Cue the butterflies. "Aye-aye captain." She saluted, lips curling up in amusement. "I love you. I hate you. I love you. I hate you. But I hate that I love you so damn much."
Lukas: Brows furrowing as she picked the least awesome name she could think up, though he wished to question it he only shrugged and accepted the name as something that made her happy. If the president of the sexiest sorority on campus wanted to be called McDork by him then fuck it, he'd called her McDork. “I would have went with McSexy but McDork works too. Whatever makes you happy.” He admitted. Snorting in laughter at the mock salute she gave him, he playfully pushed at the woman's stomach as she spoke of both hating him and loving him. “That's romantic. Swoon worthy words there, babe. Be still my heart. So um, you love me most days and I love you all the damn time. What's that mean? We an us again?”
Sedona: "What can I say? McDork is personal. Besides, McSexy is what my other boyfriends call me." She gave her curls a flip, confidence oozing from this small gesture. Sedona was kidding, of course. Her eyes were set on one man and one man only. Lukas fucking Cruz, god help him. "Hey! I am epitome of romantic. I vaguely remember my swoon winning you over the first time we met." She mimicked his play push with one of her own, only hers was directed at his left shoulder. "If you'll have me." There wasn't a doubt in her mind that he'd want to give them another shot, but it was always nice to hear him talk about her like she was water and he was a parched man. "It also means that this spring break just got a whole lot more interesting. But sure, why not? Let's give us a shot."
Lukas: Shaking his head as she did whatever she could to irk his nerves and make him scowl, the omega used to it and secretly loving it just rolled his eyes again at her cute little hair flip. “Do you want me to get started on my other girlfriends? Tell you what they call me?” He teased.”Pretty sure it was something else that won me over the first time.” Glancing down at the bad boys that had first caught his attention when they had first met, he chuckled again as she pushed at his shoulder, his body swaying from the motion. “I'll have you.” He was quick to reply, his overeager response showing just how much he wanted it. “Way to make it as if I'm asking you to go play ping-pong or something with me and not asking to be yours again. You're frustrating as hell, woman.” He joked, leaning in briefly to peck her on the lips before pulling back fully to once more direct his attention back toward the sea. “Lucky as fuck I love you.”
Sedona: "Wait." Her eyes widened. "You mean...you've been able to snag other females?" She tossed up her hands. "I. Am. Shocked. I would go about making my assumptions, but I can't see it being anything positive." She reached out, patting him on the shoulder. "Oh? You mean your winning personality? It had to be love at first sight." She prayed her words went about amusing him rather than hitting a nerve, for the jokes themselves were more of a lame attempt to jest on her part; a shitty flirting tactic. "But in all seriousness, I WILL play ping-pong with you until your hand goes numb." With her mention of his hand, Sedona reached down, taking his hand back into her own, lacing their fingers together. The kiss - although quick - was the only confirmation she needed to feel confident in her decision to take that final step with Lukas, despite the nagging warning in her head. Her faze fixated on his, her smile extending from ear to ear. "Say it again." She murmured, voice just above a whisper. Although, instead of leaning into plant another encouraging peck, Sedona chose to rest her head on his shoulder, gaze following his own out into the open sea.
Lukas: If he didn’t love her so fucking much, he'd be pushing her the hell off this boat in this moment. In their time apart he had forgotten how she could be such a little shit when she wanted to be, this wake up call was like a slap to the face. “I'm gonna toss your ass over this railing in a second. Keep playing, Sedona. You're gonna be Jack in this relationship if you keep this shit up.” He playfully growled, the threat obviously fake as tossing her over the railing would be the very last thing he'd do after working so hard to get her to get back with him. “Hey!” He objected. “I remember you thinking I was charming at one point. This didn't do all the work.” He gestured to his well, everything. “Lucky me.” He murmured, his smile returning as she once more grabbed hold of his hand and laced their fingers together. Briefly glancing down at their joined hands before turning his head to meet the guides gaze, Lukas silently signaled with a nod of his head for him to come over the moment he was done playing nice with the elderly assholes. Turning back to her at her request, the omega briefly met her gaze before ducking his head down. “Lucky as fuck.” Knowing that wasn't what she wanted to hear, he chuckled over the fact that he too could be a little shit when he wanted to be. “I love you.”
Sedona: Her tongue shot out, another goofy gesture to assure that she meant well, but with a slight bite. "You can try. But if you do - I'll come back to haunt your sorry ass until you throw yourself overboard." Exterior, she was posed and confident. Interior, she couldn't help but twitch in response to his playful threat. Fucking phobias. "Yeah, yeah. You have your moments." This much she could admit. Lukas has remained an obnoxious itch, even after they had broken and kept their distance for a decent amount of time. Although, Sedona couldn't help but roll her eyes as her cockily referenced his entire form. "Lucky you." She softly nudged his shoulder with her own, eyelids heavy with emotion as she fixated on the open water. "I love you." She murmured. His repeat brought back those familiar butterflies in the pit of her stomach, gaze still focused on the sea. "It's getting late..." She felt a jolt of disappoint with the dolphin's lack of appearance and with the sunset's fading colors.
