✧ TASK THREE — home sweet home.

Bella’s interior colour palette features shades of orange, white, brown, and blue. 

Bella strived to have a good work life balance, but she eventually had to come to terms with embracing the necessity of a home office and library. The book nook she added at one of the large windows is a favourite spot of hers to get cozy in and read for hours on end. 

The walk-in-closet connected to her bedroom is another highlight of her space. It was always something she looked for when house shopping years ago. 

The dining room, living room, and kitchen share a large open space once beyond the foyer. They are separated by the positioning of the furniture. The transformer dining table extends to full length when she hosts family and friends over for dinner & games. They also make use of the deck and outdoor space off the the left of her property. With professional landscaping, and fairy lights as a backdrop, resides an outdoor kitchen space, with built-in and moveable seating that surrounds a fire pit. 

The back of her house has a wrap-around verandah, which provides her with optimal views of the red rock land formations in Red Ridge Heights. This is her preferred spot to wind down in the evenings and watch the sunset with a glass of wine and snacks.

HOME SWEET HOME ; DANIELA HERRERA

a townhome tucked just off the noise of main street. living in the center of activity with a home that holds warmth, craft & control after demanding days in the kitchen.

the living room is where dani decompresses. it's lived-in and has an understated elegance. she intentionally arranged it for conversation. the kitchen is the heart. it's beautiful & has functional cookware. everything is organized, intentional and most of all, it is used. it's hers, above all else. her bedroom is the most private of all the spaces. it's her quiet sanctuary. it is where she lets herself be tired and her ambition can have a moment of quiet. dani keeps personal touches around her townhome which include her first chef's knife, though she doesn't use it anymore. she keeps a silver ring her mother gave her in her bedroom nightstand. her recipe cards are handwritten. for dani, the townhome was proof she could build outside the shadow of her father & the paloma. @sedonabulletin

𝑹𝑶𝑴𝑨𝑵'𝑺 𝑨𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑻𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻.

Roman rented out an apartment a month ago in Uptown Sedona, while he works out where he actually wants to live, and what he's going to do with his life. It's a modern and upscale apartment in Uptown, Sedona, with a clean black, white and grey palette. Donned with contemporary furniture, high end finishes and large windows that fill the apartment with natural light whilst showcasing the stunning views of the red rock formations. It's giving open plan living, with a private balcony including a jacuzzi. And the complex offers a pool for residents. The location is ideal, just a short walk from Uptown's boutique streets of shops, cafes and galleries.

HOME SWEET HOME ; NATHAN MEYER

small, quiet & tucked away in the southpoint neighborhood of sedona, arizona. it's rarely messy, a little bit moody. work boots lined up by the door in case he might need to leave at a moment's notice.

in the living room the couch has been slept on more than it has been sat on. a few throw pillows that his mom insisted that he had and the art on the walls was selected by her, too. otherwise, he'd have nothing on the walls just to fill the space. the kitchen is functional & always clean. the cabinets hold what he needs & only a few extra items for the rare guest that he has over. the mugs are mismatched. the fridge isn't bare but it isn't stocked for company either. rook's bowls are neatly kept at the edge. his bedroom is the quietest room in the apartment & the bed is neatly made each day. the closet is organized by habit rather than care. he has a lamp that he turns of manually every night, when he does sleep in his room. the personal touches can be easy to miss. he's got a small ceramic dish that his sister made. it's imperfect but he can't stand to part with it. he keeps a jacket slung over the back of a chair that never gets put away. his gear occupies a corner, always ready & always clean. for nathan, the apartment is somewhere to sleep, to breath & to reset before the next call. @sedonabulletin

Iyana is currently staying in Bella's guest room. She doesn't change anything about the room. Even though she was told she could, she can't seem to make herself do it. It's not really her room. But she does add some decor that's her own. She finds joy in cute/colorful decor. Something that can bring more life or personality to the room

The Watkins family home is in Naples, Florida. Despite their children being grown and on their own, they have refused to part with the property. The empty nest is filled ever so often when the siblings return home for visits, or to drop off the grandchildren.

The home has been remodeled and outfitted with modern accents, especially in the common areas. The last updated area would be that of the pool and backyard. These spaces are heavily used when the Watkins’ host their family and friends frequently.

Jasiri’s own place veers from the colour palette she grew up with. Rich jewel tones adorn her townhouse which is located in Naples, Florida as well. 

As of December 2025, Jasiri now lives with Levi Becker at his home in Canyon Creek, Sedona.

𝑳𝑨 𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑨 𝑫𝑬 𝑳𝑶𝑺 𝑻𝑶𝑹𝑹𝑬𝑺.

Situated in Southpoint, Sedona, the Torres house is a small stucco place with a central courtyard, potted plants along the walls, and hand painted plates hung inside. Paint is faded, things are mismatched, and little has been replaced over the years unless it had to be. Most of Nadia's memories are in the kitchen. Someone was always cooking, food was left out on the counter, and she spent a lot of time sitting at the table watching her abuela move around the room — kneading masa, stirring sauces, chopping cilantro with a flick of her wrist. It was her abuela, after all, who taught her to cook. The house was always noisy, warm, and sometimes cramped, but it was reliable. It was home. And it's the one place Nadia remembers most about Sedona. Nadia's abuela still lives there today.

𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑴𝒀𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑪 𝑴𝑶𝑻𝑬𝑳.

At present, Nadia has been living mostly at the Mystic Motel, a place worn at the edges but quietly coming back to life in her hands. Her son, Tommy, lives with her in one of the two bedders, but also spends a lot of time, especially weekends, at Nadia's abuela's house. What was once faded and forgotten is slowly being restored, room by room. Taking over after her father's death, she wants to be sure not to erase the past but just enhance it. Subtle Mexican influences weave throughout the space as a reflection of her heritage and personal style and taste. Earthy tones, sun washed terracotta, textured fabrics, warm wood, and vintage details as inspired by her abuela. There's a sense of nostalgia in the air, shaped by culture and memory. She's still on the fence about selling the place but one thing is for sure, she's decided she's attached enough to the motel that she doesn't want it knocked down.
