HOME SWEET HOME ; NATHAN MEYER

small, quiet & tucked away in the southpoint neighborhood of sedona, arizona. it's rarely messy, a little bit moody. work boots lined up by the door in case he might need to leave at a moment's notice.

in the living room the couch has been slept on more than it has been sat on. a few throw pillows that his mom insisted that he had and the art on the walls was selected by her, too. otherwise, he'd have nothing on the walls just to fill the space. the kitchen is functional & always clean. the cabinets hold what he needs & only a few extra items for the rare guest that he has over. the mugs are mismatched. the fridge isn't bare but it isn't stocked for company either. rook's bowls are neatly kept at the edge. his bedroom is the quietest room in the apartment & the bed is neatly made each day. the closet is organized by habit rather than care. he has a lamp that he turns of manually every night, when he does sleep in his room. the personal touches can be easy to miss. he's got a small ceramic dish that his sister made. it's imperfect but he can't stand to part with it. he keeps a jacket slung over the back of a chair that never gets put away. his gear occupies a corner, always ready & always clean. for nathan, the apartment is somewhere to sleep, to breath & to reset before the next call. @sedonabulletin
