okok. his name is Erik Baldacci (yes im gonna Capitalize his name, its Important to me), hes a hyper realistic automaton that was originally made as a caretaker (specifically, to look after small children 3-10 years) but after multiple failed attempts from his creator (beatrice baldacci, she doesnt deserve to have her name capitalized) he was turned into a sorta around-the-house bot. by that, i mean, he was instead programmed to cook, clean, and other house chores to help beatrice with everyday life.
there are other bots like him! there is Klebah (pronouned kl-ee-bah, long e)(its from a conlang i made ok), CC, DD and Tick (theyre twins), and finally Eugene! (yes i have two characters named eugene shush)
Klebah is just... weird. its worth keeping in mind that all the bots are failed attempts by the same creator at making a child friendly bot. Klebah, specifically, was made to entertain kids! because of that, its pretty chaotic and hard to keep up with. i often like to imagine its current caretaker (named Matrix, hes actually the current caretaker for most of the bots, except Erik and Eugene) will ask Klebah to hand him a tool while hes working on something and Klebah just... eats the tool or smth.
oh, also also, the thing that made Erik failed was the fact that he could just not comprehend how people worked. by that, i mean he didnt understand the concept of pain and the fact that biological things could get hurt. obviously, if he was supposed to look after small children, this would be a big issue.
the thing that made Klebah fail was the fact that beatrice just couldnt for the life of her get it right. yea, she built it, but she was having a lot of problems with making it exactly as she pictures it being. one of those being he was just too loud and destructive to be let around kids.
ok. uhm. this got long. but ill probably post more about them another time. theyre my little guys. ill probably talk more about Matrix next too.
