This is a very interesting case as it deals with an incredibly rare and little-known about chromosomal disorder that causes insatiable appetite and in some cases low IQ. It's interesting that somebody can be indicted by the things that they do because of the disorder, what's even more interesting will be to see what sort of precedent this particular case sets for any other case dealing with Prader-Willi syndrome. The U.S. Department of Justice is suing an elementary school for allegedly barring a student with disabilities from bringing her service dog to class unless a handler comes too.

One would think in this day and age that these sorts of issues would not come up anymore and that the district's attorneys would step in to make sure that this sort of thing no longer happened.
