Friends don’t let friends buy fake orchid seeds
This is probably the most common scam in the plant world. Seeds for orchids. Their seeds cannot be grown like normal seeds and you has to have more or less a laboratory to succeed with growing them from seed.
Orchids has one of the smallest, if not the smallest seeds in the world. In fact dust particles can be bigger than their seeds. A few orchids have larger seeds though, but the majority of them is dust or pollen like. For reference, vanilla is an orchid, we’re eatin the seed pods and the black dots that you see in quality vanilla ice cream are their seeds. So here’s some scamming ads I’ve seen:
