So I’m just coming across this edition of The Cypher Effect from two years ago. It features some of the dopest MCs repping the Inland Empire of Southern California.
All of these dudes did their thing yo! This was a shot in preparation for Brick To Ya Face’s annul DIY Festival in 2014. Be on the lookout for DIY Fest 2016 on September 3 at The Glass House in Pomona, CA.

DIY Music & Fashion Festival This Saturday, August 23 in Pomona
Going down this Saturday August 23 will be the 4th Annual DIY Music and Fashion Festival, which is presented by Brick To Ya Face. It will be taking place at The Glass House in Pomona, CA. This is always a great event and will feature plenty of dope local talent such as Reverie, Dirty Birdy, Seefor Yourself, Pterodactyl Jones (Noa James + Curtiss King), VerBS, and many more. There will also be some sick vendors in the house. It is an all ages event. Cop $12 presale tickets here. They will be $17 at the door. Show time 5pm-12am.
Music Video: Seefor Yourself- Homecoming Parade
This is the latest music video from Seefor Yourself, which is in dedication to all of our troops that have served in the military. Seefor personally dedicates "Homecoming Parade" to his father who served in Vietnam and his Uncle Ray Frank who passed away in Somalia. All of the crew donated their time to shooting this video. It was directed by Kevin"KJ"Johnson. Cinematography was done by John Veleta and it was edited by Geoffry Yano.
A few good things DID happen yesterday.
Found out in the parking lot of the studio that I got hired at Barnes & Noble. (I was in the car with Yadao when I got hired at Toys R Us; this time, I was in the car with Eli. This is a reoccurring theme, I guess).
Went to the studio with Eli and got to sit-in on the radio program I work for
Met Seefor Yourself
Stood outside and talked with him for about 15 minutes about the music biz
Stopped and ate Chipotle for the first time on the way home. AMAZING!
It was a really good night.
Life is good.
