Discovered an annoying problem.
VLC doesn't want to play nice with the .mkv files of Ronin Warriors when I record clips. For some reason the original video is fine, but any clips I record end up really jittery/stuttering, especially for panning shots.
I got around it by using OBS to record, but that's gonna be annoying when I just wanna watch and grab clips as they occur to me. Plus I already recorded a ton of clips that I'm gonna have to re-record in OBS.
I've upgraded VLC, tried adjusting input/codecs and turning up the caching and turning off hardware-acceleration and changing the number of threads, and nothing seems to work.
I'm going to continue playing with the preferences and hope I come across something that works, because trying to manually smooth out choppy footage in Premiere is a major pain in my ass.
