Simple advice courtesy of the hoodhealer that speaks volumes. Instead of stealing others’ personas and ideas, think about what it is you know and how it would be of benefit to you! Times like these means old ways won’t spring forth new developments or money.

With Elaine's instruction I coloured the Bisque ware using a ceramic underglaze. It was applied to dampened pieces as a wash and in layers. Unlike paints colours should not be mixed on a palette, but applied separately. The pieces are then reintroduced to the kiln.

Ok so I'm gonna start over and do the 60 hour fast which means I'll eat something high in protein on Sunday at 1pm. Only 46 more hours to go! And then I'll start the 60 hour fast all over again. That's my new plan

The process still has some flaws. Hopefully, they'll be fixed in the near term. #haiku

Here i’m turning the resin filled log on the lathe. I start by marking out the middle on the edge then screwing the housing on to attach to the lathe. Using a gouge i then take all the excess material off the outside to center the log, neatening up the outside after this by sanding it down. After this i have to hollow the middle out, i start by drilling a hole out on a low lathe speed so it doesn’t burn the resin as this creates toxic fumes (see picture 1). Once i’ve done this i continue the hollowing process with a different gouge tool (see picture 4) until it’s hollowed out enough. Finally to take it off the lathe i use a small gouge to create a groove close to the screws used to hold it in place, then saw it off, leaving some excess material still to work with.

Such a weird feeling to be having three different chapters from three different POVs going on at the same time, jumping from one to another... Very unusual for my writing process - but interesting!
