“Sometimes I worry, you know?” Graham didn’t know how else to say it, every adventure with the Doctor the man found himself keeping a close careful eye on Ryan a little more than usual. “It’s the Doc, you see… Something’s up with her and I’m worried if that’ll have an impact on us, It’s not that I don’t trust her but—.” The Doctor in her brightly coloured attire, decked head to toe in rainbow stripes with a smile, despite everything about her being bright and uplifting the alien’s personality felt completely different. Cold, distant, sometimes even unfeeling towards them. Graham couldn’t help but be uneasy, with Yaz and Ryan to watch over it left him a lot to dwell on.

Mica’s face lit up with delight as she ran to him, throwing her arms around his legs in a tight hug and clinging there, a bright grin spread across her cheeks. It had been ages since she’d gotten a chance to see him, and she really had missed him a lot but he’d promised he’d come visit soon and now here he was.

“I’ve been busy?” Jack tried to half-heartedly protest, taking a sip of his coffee as he shot a glare at the mountain of paperwork on his desk. Apparently a shit ton of paperwork, plus the rift, plus Cardiff’s weevil population these days left for very little time to do anything else. It was one of those occasions in which his minimal need (and ability) for sleep came in useful, but he still had so much to get through.
