is this said brother?
nunya Alina.
alina + music! if you have time
1. Tangier - Anfa Rose
ALRIGHT. this ones kind of a joke on elis part but can you really blame him. and you have to admit this song kind of represents their initial relationship we’ll put it that way. eli relates a lot to alina, and this is definitely how he felt towards the beginning? alina’s obviously super cute, super smart, bright, and he felt semi-ly... protective of her despite how well he knew he could kick her ass. the way they used to talk to each was constantly trading off back and forth with teasing? and occasional insults, but mostly teasing. at this time eli was heavily attracted to alina and had a pretty big crush on her but he’ll never admit. “Fuck around and call you my Habibi. Don't make it too easy. “
2. Loose - Daniel Caesar
this kind of represents how eli feels about alina. theres less energy from the beginning but thats not a bad thing. he cares a lot for alina despite how distant he is with her. he does wish he could talk to her, well he wish he could talk to anyone really. but its not anyones fault but his own on that note. this song represents how he wants to support her. the “girl” in the song represents all of alinas problems. “Who are you helping? You got the power” and “ You better cut that girl loose”. how he wishes he could raise her up even just for a little but and help her deal with her issues. as for the end of the song, as aforementioned, his distance caused a sort of wedge in their relationship. or at least eli feels like its that way. “Ever since the day that I met you. Knew you were the girl of my dreams. But we could never be.”
