This is a run down of a major AU that will be on this blog in regards to my Chidori muse
SEES AU written under the cut
In this AU instead of being subjected to Kirijo Group experiments and joining Strega, Chidori is taken into the care of the Kirijo family at Mitsuru’s request. This is her attempt at a young age to try and start dealing with the guilt of her family’s actions. She adopts the last name Kirijo as well.
Chidori’s persona is still unstable and unsafe as it was still made artificially. Once it manifests she is put at risk by continued persona use - she can become weak and faint, sometimes for days on end. It also incurs numbness within her whole body and occasionally intense pain. As her and Mitsuru get closer, Mitsuru tries to prevent her from using it.
She has the power to be the team’s scanner but as using her persona is risky Mitsuru tries to stop this. Once Fuuka joins the team she is put out of the position indefinitely.
She enters high school as a 1st year when Mitsuru is a 3rd year and she’s considered to be cold and untouchable, similar to her “sister”. Junpei tries to flirt with her and is immediately shot down.
When the protagonist arrives in the dorms Yukari is not just hanging out there by herself but rather set on duty keeping watch over her. This position is not nice for either of them before the protagonist shakes things up.
Her relationship with the protagonist ends up very strong and she shares with her fears of uselessness and death. She also has a very strong relationship with Akihiko and Shinjiro as she had known them since they joined SEES. Junpei grows on her as well, still leading into that romantic relationship. Her stance on Yukari is somewhat shaky as the older girl has no idea how to read her and sometimes makes her nervous.
As for her interaction with family she’s obviously very close to her “sister” but is well aware that there is no actual blood bond between anyone. She cares very much for Takeharu and tries not to be a burden to anyone. His death cuts her deeply as well.
She ends up deciding to become a Strega turncoat after being approached by Ikutsuki. However, she’s actually a double agent, attempting to remove the Strega threat from the inside out after seeing herself as useless for too long. When Junpei is shot, the transfer of her life is not enough to kill her but it puts her in a coma, one she wakes up from a little before Christmas.
While she is physically incapable of fighting in the battle, Fuuka opts to keep her with her. She believes it is only right for her to see how this all will play out.
