Steve laughs again, but it’s sharper this time, it doesn’t last as long, because as soon as the words slip out of his mouth— “My mom’s dead—” —it walks that treacherous line between the two sounds and morphs straight to a broken sort of sobbing that reaches directly into Eddie’s chest and drags out his heart.

Thinking about SEFS Solar covering his mouth while dealing with an after hours intruder. I feel like while his mouth is the most typical creepy thing about him, only ever seeing depictions with his mouth clearly visible makes it being covered a little more unnerving only his two blank eyes watching from the darkness
