lal shahbaz qalandar aur bodla bahar

“Bueno, entonces ¿Qué hacen aquí exactamente?” curiosea aunque era bastante evidente que estaban ensayando. “Necesito un lugar adonde esconderme un tiempo porque hacer velas no es lo mío”
We Pakistanis always believed our saints protected us. In Karachi, where we live by the sea, we believe that the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi, overlooking the Arabian Sea shore, saved the city from cyclones and tsunamis. Before Lal Shahbaz Qalandar arrived here, before Islam came to the subcontinent, Sehwan was known as Shivistan after the Hindu god Shiva. In time, the town’s name was changed, but Sindh has long remained a home to all faiths. At the annual festival of Qalandar, a Hindu and a Muslim family together drape a ceremonial cloth over Qalandar’s grave. A lamp-lighting ceremony reminiscent of Hindu rites is also performed.

Starter for @leesehwcn Setting: Redwood Square for Sol and Ginny's Party
One of the things she loved about Redwood was the sense of community. It wasn't quite the same as the one she had when working at the old fire house but it was pretty darn close. This sense of community really shone during community-wide events such as the bonfire to bid safe travels to Sol and Ginny.
Silvy chose to hang out by the bonfire since old habits die hard. While she had helped to build the thing and ensure it was as safe as it could be, she wanted to watch it, just in case. Plus if she was watching the fire, she didn't have to necessarily make small-talk with anyone else.
Someone else who didn't appreciate small-talk was Sehwan. Silvy liked hanging out with Sehwan since he didn't feel the compulsion to fill silence with lots of words.
Silvy found Sehwan stood at a reasonable distance from the bonfire so she walked over to him. "Having fun?" She asked with a smile. She wasn't expecting him to say much in return, based on their previous interactions.
Starter for @leesehwcn Setting: close to Sehwan's farmhouse
All it had taken for Jake to excuse Willow from school that day was Willow asking him nicely. Was he a soft touch when it came to his Hawks? Yes, next question! But as far as he was concerned, the kids were still adjusting to life at Redwood and there were going to be days when one or more of the kids didn't want to stick so closely to the new routine.
But just because he had allowed Willow to miss school today didn't mean he was going to let her lounge around and not do anything. Once the other Hawks had gone off to school for the day, Jake and Willow took a long walk through the Redwood compound.
Jake did have a route in mind but Willow had other ideas. She immediately headed towards Sehwan's farmhouse, obviously intent on going to see Min, Sehwan's German Shepherd dog. She had been borderline obsessed with the dog since they had arrived at Redwood so it made sense this was all part of her plan for the day.
"Sehwan?" Jake called as they approached his farmhouse. "Can Min come out to play?"
