seide before/after being struck by lightning, it turned his hair white and his eyes purple. he was already suffering from burnout due to striving for a music career his parents pressured him into, and he wanted to disappear.
the lightning accident gave him the perfect opportunity as he knew he'd need to look vastly different to not be recognized. so the night of the accident he never returns home and wanders aimlessly for awhile. I have already decided he likely met someone on the road who took him in and helped him recover from his injuries but idk Who or What yet.
