Maroon Group buys US chemical distributor, Seidler
Maroon Group LLC has acquired Seidler Chemical, a speciality chemicals and ingredients distributor based in Newark, New Jersey. Seidler's management team, led by Richard and Martha Seidler, will remain in position and continue to manage the business.
Founded in 1896, Seidler Chemical supplies speciality chemicals & ingredients and value-add services to the pharmaceutical, high purity electronic, industrial, and food & beverage industries.
The deal is another example of successful entrepreneurs choosing to join Maroon Group. Going forward, the Seidlers' deep experience, differentiated market insights, and value-added capabilities will be instrumental in executing Maroon's strategy.
