The shifter councilwoman wasn’t hard to find, their office hadn’t moved and it was easy enough to slip away from her own work to the other side of the building where Seiha’s was located. “I think these are one of yours,” she said, waving a file around on a twitchy shifter jammed into a mouse for the last several days. “Think someone mixed up our paperwork, I’m afraid I can’t help your mouse problem. Do you happen to have mine, or did they send everyone’s to the wrong person?” Most of the files would be discussed in a council meeting anyway, but Odette preferred looking over her things ahead of time and preparing. She leaned against the door, arms crossing, studying the shifter with curiosity. “What is it you are studying? I had thought you had read everything in here on zoology already, or have you found something of interest in here? I have been waiting to get a peek on the books in here for ages, your predecessor was quite private sometimes.”
