Mokou had been keeping an eye on the shifty man as soon as he started trailing a younger man who was otherwise roaming the street unawares. Mokou had been around long enough to realize that not everyone was friendly or even apathetic and while it was possible the man was just going the same way, she didn’t want to risk something happening.
Sure enough, the shady man lunged at the younger man and tried to pull him into an alleyway. Automatically Mokou jolted across the street at the man, spooking him and causing him to let go and run into the darkness.
Seeing a third man running to the scene as well, Mokou called out to him. “Hey, help me chase this guy down. He ran this way.”
