Gosh I had to think about this one! I love them both, but I’ve never really thought of them together before! (I checked the tag, and theres nothing in there so I guess I must remedy this!)

Shibayama catches feelings first. He somewhat has a thing for tall guys, so he realizes he is in trouble as soon as he walks into that first cats vs crows training camp and sees tall blonde and handsome scowling at his teammates across the gym.

Shiba isn’t sure if they’ll get along at first, because he hears Tsuki saying mean little things about his short teammates heights, but, Tsukishima doesn’t really say anything like that to him, and never really has. Shiba appreciates that in a weird way. He’s used to people picking on him because he’s short, but Tsukishima never really reduced him to his height. And its nice. Really, really nice.

As a couple, they’re just very quiet and soft.  Their relationship isn’t really in your face, and you probably wouldn’t even know they were dating if you weren’t watching them.

They’re really private in their relationship, and never really let anyone see their pda because thats for them, and them only.  The only time they risk it is when they have to go their seperate ways, like a quick kiss and a hug at the train station after a weekend together.

Part of this privacy comes from their personalities, but part of it comes from how awkward it is to kiss standing up with their height difference. The first time them shared a kiss, Tsuki nearly lost a tooth because of how quickly he leaned down, and how fast Shiba lifted up on his toes. 

Because they live so far away from each other (until they get out of high school at least), they obviously have to deal with that nasty long-distance thing.  But, they do a pretty good job of it.  They video chat frequently, even if they’re not really talking, they may just have the window open so they feel a little bit less lonesome.

Also, texting, all the time. Their conversation never really stops, it just slows down or has little lulls during the school day and at night.  Neither of them really like to say goodbye, and rather enjoy falling asleep on their nice conversation so they can just resume in the morning.

Also, Shiba is such a cute little texter. He uses alot of emojis, and just randomly drops cute little messages like “I love you so much :)” or “I miss you” and it just messes Tsuki up so bad.  Everyone around him knows when he’s gotten something sweet from Shibayama, because he has to but his head down on his desk so he can hide his face, and he goes red all the way to the back of his neck.

Everyone knows they’re dating, and everyone teases them about ‘getting busy’ when they disappear for an hour or so after dinner each night. But really, they just wandered off and found a quiet place to sit and talk and look at the stars because their time together in person is so limited.

Shibayama’s smile is alot cuter in person than it is through a screen.

They’re just. Really soft.  They’d rather sit on the couch and watch a movie than anything else, and just love to spend as much time together as they can, because they don’t have much of it. They can relax a bit more once they get to college, but for now, they really love the way things are.

You can never ask for too much! I always try to get to the good ones when I get the chance! And almost anything with Konoha is a good thing imo.

from Konoha’s perspective, its like “do I want to be you or do I just want you?” with a little bit of “god I want to kill you”

Because while he does really look up to Bokuto as a captain / ace in terms of his physical abilities,he almost gets embarrassed anytime Bokuto gets silly because “why on earth do I like this guy?”

Konoha really tries to keep his feelings to himself for the most part at first, but on the inside he’s just melting anytime Bokuto gets that big, endearing smile on his face.

Konoha also gets a little bit jealous when someone else cheers up Bokuto first when he’s having a moment. (Or really jealous, because Konoha can be majorly petty)

Meanwhile, Bokuto is beyond oblivious until Konoha gets his shit together and confesses his feelings. Bokuto may not have had any specific romantic feelings for him right in that moment, he’ll try anything once! Besides, Bokuto could probably learn to love anything, just because he put effort into it.

Bokuto is so embarrassing as a boyfriend, but Konoha eats it up because he secretly likes the attention. He only pretends to be mortified. (not like Bokuto would’ve noticed one way or another if he thought he was being sweet)

Bokuto really likes to show Konoha off. He always pays him lots of compliments around their friends, and makes sure to always say “my boyfriend” when talking about Konoha, even if its in passing.

The verbal praise, Konoha doesn’t mind. The physical PDA is where he starts getting a little antsy because Bokuto can. not. keep his hands to himself!

the affection doesn’t end as soon as they’re alone either. Bokuto is just a very affectionate, cuddly, sweet person.  He constantly needs to be validated, and his form of validation is Konoha letting him do whatever he wants without getting pushed away.

Bokuto doesn’t always understand that Konoha sometimes needs his space.  He often gets his feelings hurt if Konoha pulls away or pushes him off when he tries to lay on him. 

Konoha can’t always deal with the pouty Bokuto when he is in a poor mood himself, but he always cools off first it seems, so he still ends up going to comfort Bokuto even if he wishes it would be the other way around for a change. 

Bokuto always apologizes first, even if it wasn’t his fault.

Konoha didn’t sleep for a week after they moved in together. He’d never shared a room with anyone (other than school activities), and so he really can’t figure out how to fall asleep with a full grown man hanging off his back.

But, that warm presence grows to be a comfort for him.  After a few months, if Bokuto ever has to spend the night away, he finds it even more difficult to fall asleep than if he were there snoring into his ear.

I suppose they’re each other’s own form of comfort, in their own unique weird way.

Yo! Your girl is back again with that bullshit! Okay but being real! Some washikono (washikono and konoha) hc's would be to die for!

I love them. I wrote a fic about them once. I will gladly do some hc’s for them!

They are like the definition of chaotic smol and stoic toll. And Konoha isn’t even that smol but he has a personality of a person 15 cm shorter than him.

Washio just really balances Konoha out.  Washio kind of reels him back in when he’s starting to get too wild, and gets him to calm down when he’s getting too hyped up or upset.

He is also has no hesitation to put a hand over Konoha’s mouth (or putting him in a loving headlock) to get him to shut up when he’s running his mouth to someone else. Washio is Konoha’s filter. 

Washio has no issue with telling Konoha when he’s being a dumbass either. He just says it in nicer words than I can communicate right now. 

But their relationship isn’t all about Washio being Konoha’s self-control and conscience. Its also about Konoha turning the sass back on Washio and absolutely destroying him.

He’s never cruel, Konoha would never do that to his boyfriend.  Not unless you consider relentless flirtatious teasing “cruel”. 

(Washio sure does. He never gets a break from the constant sultry looks, dirty jokes, and innuendos. He has at times resorted to giving Konoha a big ol smooch to get him to shut his mouth, but that just makes things “worse” for him in the long run).

Boyfriend sweaters are so cliche. But. Boyfriend sweaters. Washio is about to take them all back because Konoha keeps doing dinosaur arms in them and then slapping his butt with the empty sleeves.

Washio is so serious in public, so when he blushes or a smile cracks on his face, Konoha feels a major victory, and a little bit flustered himself.

Konoha’s favorite activity is laying on the couch with Washio laying behind / under him, and a big blanket wrapped up over them.

Washio struggles when he first moves in with Konoha after high school. Washio is a very neat, orderly person for the most part. Konoha is a walking disaster. Once, as punishment for leaving his dirty clothes all over the floor, Washio tucked Konoha into bed. Think, hotel tucked sheets that are impossible to kick out, except it is all the way around. Washio doesn’t let him out until he promised to do his laundry and put it away.

Washio may have sat on top of him while he was tucked in the bed. For emphasis. 

Konoha makes up for it by being a fairly decent cook. He isn’t the best, but he knows how to make all of his and Washio’s favorite dishes, and that is the only thing that matters.

When they have lazy nights in, Konoha always ropes Washio in to doing his skincare routine with him. Nothing better than a 6ft 2 man answering the door for the pizza man with a pastel green clay mask glooped on his face. It’s not exactly torture, but Washio pretends it is so that Konoha agrees to give him a back massage later.

They’re about as opposite as they could be, but they level each other out and work so well! Washio calms Konoha down, and Konoha livens Washio up. They’re perfect. Best owls.

Give your girl some oikuni have?!?! Sorry know your girl just asked for kurooshiba ones!(they were great by the way! You are a god send!) But like you send you wanted some request and I can't find anything about oikuni!

Awe you’re so sweet! I’ve just been craving talking about some hq ships, so you are a godsend yourself because you’re giving me the good stuff d(owo)b Kunimi is probably my second favorite leaf too after Yahaba, so I am always down to talk about him.

Oikawa is so physically affectionate that Kunimi can’t handle it. The first thing Oikawa does when he sees his old middle school kouhai in the gym at the beginning of the school year is hug him so hard that his toes nearly lift off the floor. If he wasn’t Kunimi’s captain, Oikawa would have gotten smacked so hard that he saw stars in that moment.

Kunimi learns to appreciate the hugs later on, but god Oikawa-senpai I’m nearly as tall as you, don’t pick me up.

Oikawa really appreciates that Kunimi is basically the only underclassman not swooning over Iwaizumi. Like sure, Oikawa knows Kunimi respects him, but, he’d get a little bit jealous if Kunimi had stars in his eyes when looking at Iwaizumi like the other boys…

In the same sense, Oikawa has definitely lost his train of thought before because he noticed how closely Kunimi was listening to what he was saying. So attentive, so cute. How can he focus when Kunimi is looking at him like that.

Oikawa you can’t use that as an excuse for why you act like a fool every time Kunimi looks at you. Kunimi isn’t that expressive, but Oikawa still says that the expression in Kunimi’s eyes are what gets him.

While in general, Kunimi thinks that Oikawa is about 90% too much, he is genuinely amused by him.  He thinks Oikawa is funny, especially when the other 3rd years are picking on him.

But, Kunimi’s favorite Oikawa is the thoughtful, slightly more serious Oikawa. He prefers Oikawa to show his smarts and his wit, rather than acting like a whiney little airhead. That isn’t attractive.

Kunimi also really enjoys and respects Oikawa’s dedication to the things he cares about. That way, he knows Oikawa will be serious when it comes to their relationship…

But also, when Oikawa is hyperfocusing on volleyball, Kunimi can take a nap in his bed, and that’s never a bad thing. Oikawa showers before bed, so his pillows always smell nice and fresh like his shampoo.

After they start dating, Oikawa brings Kunimi coffee every morning before school because he knows Kunimi sleeps too late to get it himself and Kunimi knows that this is must be what love is.

Oikawa also always shares his lunch with Kunimi, even if its just a bite of his milk bread. Kunimi sometimes wonder if he should raise his standards, but sometimes those things are all they need to be happy. 

Oikawa also knows Kunimi’s regular order at 90% of the restaurants they go to together, AND orders for him so he doesn’t have to talk to the clerk / waitress. So yeah, true love.

When Kunimi is pouting, Oikawa likes to squish his cheeks until Kunimi snaps back at him because grumpy Kunimi is more lively and active than pouty Kunimi.

And, whenever Oikawa is feeling stressed, all it takes is Kunimi ruffling his hair and giving him a soft little smile for him to start feeling better.

I’m really surprised I’ve never written hcs for them before, because I know I’ve thought alot about them in the past. They’re so cute. 

When they first met, it wasn’t an instant connection. They both recognized the other was attractive, but Kuroo wasn’t looking to date anyone his last year of high school (especially not a first year), and Shiba was just wanting to make friends and get closer to his teammates rather than pursuing anything with anyone (especially with the captain). They just have a normal, standard senpai-kouhai relationship. And not a very close one at that.

They just don’t really get alot of time to spend together when the school year first starts. Kuroo has his own wiley 1st years to worry about, and Yaku is taking care of Shiba’s training for the most part… 

That slowly starts to change as they get closer and closer to the summer interhigh prelims.  Kuroo pulls himself away from Inuoka and Lev to make sure the other guys are working hard and honing their skills. 

Shiba may get a little bit flustered when he discovers he likes it alot when Kuroo praises him and ruffles his hair (NO ONE gets to ruffle his hair).

They get closer for the first time after the interhigh tournament is over. The whole team gets together a few times over the summer break just to hang out, play games, and eat copious amounts of junk food before they get back to work during the fall. 

At these little get togethers, Kuroo notices that Shiba somewhat hovers around him and the other third years. He tries to not let it go to his head, but its cute. The attention Shiba is giving him is really cute. 

He really likes the attention Shiba is giving him.

And, he can’t help but notice the way Shiba stares at him, and hangs off his every word. 

Kuroo really hopes he isn’t reading too much into things, but he knows he’s in trouble when he catches Shiba’s eye and the little libero smiles at him like that. 

When they finally get together, no one was surprised. Everyone else saw it coming from a mile away, especially Yaku, because Shiba always tried to slyly ask him about Kuroo, but he was incredibly obvious.

They are obnoxiously sweet to each other in public. They try to not do too wild pda, but Kuroo always has a hand on Shiba. Either holding his hand, an arm around him, a hand on his back. 

Kuroo is almost protective of Shiba. Both out in public, (because he’s so little and wow of course big Kuroo has to protect little Kuroo), and in private. Kuroo doesn’t want to corrupt his innocence, but. Shiba always surprise him.

Kuroo always finds an excuse to get Shiba to sit on his lap. 

Shiba is a little shy when they first start dating, because he just. Isn’t sure. How dating works yet? Like, he knows how to be Kuroo’s friend, and they get on well when they get to hang out with their teammates, but he isn’t sure how its supposed to change when its just the two of them. 

Kuroo is very patient with him. He’s dated a couple people before, but he’s not this romance master that Shiba seems to think he is.  He just tries to make Shiba comfortable, and waits for his adorable personality to come out. 

If things get too embarrassing or tense, Kuroo tickles Shiba’s sides to make him laugh and relieve the tension.

Shiba can actually be pretty funny, and Kuroo is always surprised when his lil boyfriend lays down a cold burn, because it is usually a teasing burn aimed at Kuroo himself. 

They tease each other alot. Kuroo teases Shiba about his height, calls him his little kitten, and Shiba claps back with a “I’d rather be a kitten than look like a rooster”

But, its all in good fun, because its always followed up with the tightest hug possible, and a sweet little kiss on Shiba’s nose.
