Kuroko was lying if he was to say the he wasn't surprised. Kiyoshi-senpai was in that kind of relationship with Hanamiya Makoto? Wasn't he the one who had injured the senpai so badly that even senpai's basketball future was almost jeopardized? He had his questions but he maintained the straight face. Feeling that it was not his place to question something like that when Kiyoshi-senpai was showing him such an expression.

"I have to say I'm surprised but I don't think it's silly. Kiyoshi-senpai is free to have a relationship with anyone,"

Being open-minded about it, Kuroko answered Kiyoshi-senpai simply.

I also figured that but like at the time, Hyuuga and Teppei weren't that close for Hyuuga to be sharing information about Riko (or at least I'm judging by the look he gave when he was talking to Teppei and he called her by her first name so casually) and I don't think Izuki would think to share that her father was also a pro baller. Just that he owned that gym and was a trainer.

And Riko doesn't talk about her father like that or really anything about her home life. It is totally possible that not too long after the team was formed, Teppei learned this but not from the first day of practice.
