Vanessa Montano
Daughter of the villainous Seismecca and the fire god Infernus.
Powers include Terrakinesis, Fire control, Magma manipulation, regeneration, immunity to heat and some minor shapeshifting.
She was put up for adoption by her mother shortly after her birth, and was unaware of her heritage until her teens.
Currently fighting against her villainous instincts by operating as a hero after she stopped her father from destroying the world.
egooc rambling with seismecca and friends so i dont forget. will probably just use codenames even though at this point they would be going by their real names (whom half of them i cant remember)
freshman year seismecca arrives at GIFT academy and finds her place in their athletics division, or whatever a school that trains super heroes would have in place of athletics. meets corona and the pair instantly hit it off and become friends
sophomore year the pair meet up and befriend a girl from the popular clique named whirlwind. initially cold and aloof, whirlwind joins as the superego to seismecca and coronas id and ego respectively. seismecca also steals coronas jacket and never gives it back
junior year a girl name hydrojen is admitted into the school under the premise that shes spend the last two years as a tank of water, unable to maintain human form. Now fixed, she’s bumped up to junior year because shes a huge nerd. with no friends and a fatal sense of insecurity, the trio officially adopt hydrojen into their group without asking. seismecca and corona get closer
senior year seis and corona become a couple as the group cements their status as an official team. rising through the ranks of the schools training charts as they become school darlings and idols. the attention starts going to seismeccas head though nobody thinks twice about her growing ego until graduation
When your earthquake hits downtown just right.
evey fifth number for seismecca?
Oh geeze. Okay.
1:What does their bedroom look like?
Seismecca is very nomad-ish and usually doesn’t stay in one place very long. The closest thing that could count as her bedroom, is her personal quarters on Outpost Omega. The United Underworld’s extra-dimensional base of operations located in a pocket dimension outside of any meddling hero’s reach. The room is sparse but filthy. Sand and loose dirt scattered on the floor and splattered against the fall. The only two places that get any use are her bed, and the kitchen. Which is littered with spare and shattered liquor bottles. The kitchens kind of a wreck too.
5:Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
She’s dirty. The previous question kinda covers her living space.
10:Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
I’m assuming this question is specifically about the class of mental disorders labeled neuroses and not just mental shit in general. But yes, I would certainly say Seismecca has a "poor ability to adapt to one's environment, an inability to change one's life patterns, and the inability to develop a richer, more complex, more satisfying personality." I mean that’s her schtick. But she wouldn’t admit it. Cause she’s pretty megalomanic and assumes she’s awesome.
15:Biggest and smallest short term goal?
Destroy shit and Destroy shit. What can I say, she’s a simple dame.
20:Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?
Only if you count mutation as an illness. Her mutant terrakenetic powers manifested shortly after birth. And her lack of control attracted every government mutant tracking agency on the eastern hemisphere. Eventually she was taken by the American mutant group GIFT, and relocated to a family in Texas for safe keeping.
That’s all I’m gonna do for now.
