It’s a book!

You guys, it’s a book! My silly little fic is now an actual book!

I think I’ve mentioned this in passing, but my husband had the brilliant idea to gift me a print of one of my fics for Christmas, and while it’s taken a while to prep everything (and finish the cover art), it’s finally done !!!

And because you can’t print just one, apparently, I now have four 😂

Would be willing to part with two of them for the price of shipping (let’s say within Europe, bc I don’t trust international shipping right now).

And sorry guys, I felt a little sick since yesterday (I think it’s a cold— because in my Caribbean city the weather has been too cold for us lately and hence the cold/throat infection)

Yesterday was such a great day, because there was new Yuri On Ice stuff, after 10 years they made an official Spanish Latino dub (and also Portuguese) and that must mean something, if they’re doing something like that after so many years 😭 (just let me sit here and be delusional)… but anyway, happy day.

However over on X some people were saying that “the tarot readers” were crying because of the photos and everything happening? My brother in Christ, we said this would happen a month ago, there are no tears or surprise here lol. But as always, people and their perceptions are really something else… I’m only growing less tolerant over them.

I don’t know how popular this ship is; but I gotta say that I shipped it instantly. It’d be too funny not to. One has the power to create sanctuaries and the other has the power to destroy them. Just imagine the DRAMA. The TENSION. The TERRIBLE flirting.

Ubame (from my understanding) is revered for being an extraordinarily kind chief. Her people love her. So just imagine how funny it would be if she couldn’t help but saunter up to Nemuno and start saying the weirdest shit. She doesn’t know how to express her romantic feelings AT ALL. She’s so kind to EVERYONE ELSE, but she completely changes her behavior and personality around Nemuno. And it leaves everyone completely BAFFLED. From the outside looking in, it almost looks like she HATES Nemuno. The entire tribe is confused.

I can’t help but head-cannon that Ubame would ABSOLUTELY abuse her position as chief to ask Nemuno to expand/create more sanctuaries for the sake of the Yamanba:

‘Like, wow!!! You’re SOOOO amazing Nemuno! You built such a beautiful sanctuary!!! But you know what, maybe we can do better???

LET’S START OVER!!! Let me just destroy this real quick…

OMG DID YOU SEE WHAT I JUST DID NEMUNO?? Aren’t I SOOO strong Nemuno?? Did you see how I destroyed that?? Aren’t I STRONG??

WOW! We make such an AMAZING TEAM don’t we? HAhaHAha’

And poor, poor Nemuno. She feels like she can’t catch a break. Nemuno is just trying to mind her own business. She’s trying so hard to keep the peace and help out the tribe. She would be so confused why her chief is seemingly picking on her all the time. Like sometimes Ubame says complimentary stuff, but it sounds sarcastic or fake somehow?? Especially when Ubame constantly gives her meaningless jobs, only to destroy all her hard work. Nemuno would be soooo MAD, but she wouldn’t think it’s worth it to start a fight with the chief when she’s really good with everyone else in the tribe.

(Why is she so nice to everyone else, but not Nemuno?? What did Nemuno do to get on her bad side?? What the heck is up with her behavior?? IT MAKES NO SENSE!! What’s her damage???)

Turns out: Ubame is just completely horrendous at expressing her romantic interest.
