I figured a small snippet of what each of my characters did/how they spent valentines would be a neat, quick thing to do! Only sticking to the ones that are in committed relationships as- well, It would take me a while to get through 30+ characters :’>

Mel:

Being the rosy romantic that he is, he commissioned a bouquet of flowers weeks in advance for his partner Mafic. The kind of flora you’d only find thriving in hot, humid, volcanic regions. The whole thing was, naturally, a surprise, so Mel used that to his advantage; sending a vibrant bouquet of Fire Orchid Blossoms to your significant other, a prominent Inquest member, signed via an ‘anonymous admirer’ for all the Krewe to ponder over caused quite the stir. Mel delighted in knowing the embarrassment Mafic would have had to live with for the rest of the day, perhaps longer, given the enigmatic source of the flowers. It turns out that they’re displayed in Mafic’s study as of now, along with something else that conveniently slipped out of the bunch for all the Krewe to see!

Mokk:

Given that classes were briefly over due to the end-of-year assessments a plethora of students had passed, Professor Mokk had been left with an absurd amount of time to work on a number of things. One of which being establishing his own Krewe! They’ve yet to iron things out but things are looking up for him, his boyfriend, former student, brother and a new, remarkable lady that joined their ranks! She may be a mere teacher of Progeny but her diplomatic skills were insurmountable! Sadly, due to a little shake-up with his former student, Gwett, and a rather heart-breaking exchange, the majority of Valentines was the last thing on his mind. Fortunately, him and his partner Stemm spent the day being miserable together, snuggled in each other’s arms, leaving the comfort of their bed for nothing and nobody!

Seisyllt:

Having never done anything like this before, Seisyllt will have carted his partner Ripp around as many places with as many festivities as his roots would allow him to. Celebrations in Divinity’s Reach? Crash them! The Black Citadel and Hoelbrak? Not as lovey dovey as the rest but the sheer amount of jolly drunks were infectious, so each city they passed through would have resulted in a more and more inebriated Sylvari! Rata Sum was quite the surprise, couples being openly affectionate and...documents being exchanged with far more public frequency than you’d expect an Asura to do outside of private, well-moderated spaces. Finally arriving at their simple homestead on the outskirts of the Grove, nestled neatly into the protective, sturdy roots of a vibrant tree, the two would arrive home to Seisyllt’s final surprise! A plethora of heart-shaped balloons that were stamped with ‘Happy Birthday!’ due to his severely lacklustre understanding of the day’s festivities, the plant simply wanted his Earthy little Asuran boyfriend to see ALL of the pretty things.

Darnuii:

Now Sjoti? Spoiling him was hard. Just how did you make this day special for an Asura that had gold to spare and all the time in the world to indulge in his own hobbies whenever he liked? Dyes, food and a new pet were all out of the question, so what could make this day truly unique? Oddly enough, his source of inspiration was closer to home than he’d realised, even if he’d wracked his brain the previous day for that one special thing, when he’d finally given up, slumped near their mounts pens, the curious beak of Sjoti’s griffon, Kiwi, tussling about near his hair, made the decision rather obvious!

Rather than lovey-dovey romance, he’d taken the two of them out on his own, larger Griffon, Beryl, so that they could share a ride in the skies. Soaring over the golden deserts close to home and skimming the beautiful shores of Amnoon brought a kick of adrenaline to their sky-bound journey as they held each onto other tight, experiencing something that they could both enjoy, in a brand new way.

Wixx:

Being the greedy, histrionic character that he was, Wixx demanded that he be lavished or- well, at the very least expected it. Sadly it would seem he’d woken to an empty bed and a hard-at-work Reagg as per usual. Stubborn and slightly miffed at that fact, Wixx dedicated the majority of this special day all about love trying to divert Reagg’s attention away from his work and directly on Wixx. He utilised every ounce of subtle charm that he had, then even laid it on thick with little more than the quirk of an ear in response, so when he’d become jaded and, Alchemy end him, even took to posing across his husband’s workstation in naught but his nudity, it made Reagg’s gift all the better. Let’s just say it was Not Safe For the Workstation.

- Not quite a selfie but Vinn would absolutely take snapshots of Dar fleeing from mobs. Dar has tried himself and it ended up in a fair few tumbles down a volcano edge.

I figured it was time to give a brief overview of the stuff Seasalt’s responsible for, since he ties everything together!

Just, Typha! Existing! He's very happy about it all! - Salem wanting to write a book, many books even! - Jamm striving to continue his work as a DJ despite his hearing disability - Subject Ares

Another daily character tidbit, I feel like I need to put their strengths into perspective because they all seem incredibly strong from a distance??

Strongest to weakest just so it’s not a mess (only adding the combat-centric characters):

- Twitch: A literal Mesmer nuke with unstable abilities, a weapon developed by and for the legions, his biggest flaw is pretty much everything else. - Ghradd: A former member of the Zaishan Order, he’s got decades of experience under his belt; he’s pretty much the grandpa that broke out of hospital and is only growing stronger. - Wixx: ‘A debt collector’ for the Inquest, a specialist in his line of work yet he’s far more interested chasing aimless rats through the mists and being foiled by his own intense tunnel vision, or Roe. - Vinn: An aspiring healer with all the tools to do anything but, Vinn prefers to avoid combat and rather heal those who’ve instead suffered from it, yet that doesn’t mean he’s weak; he could lift a human and conjure fire hot enough to produce glass from sand, he’s plenty capable but stubbornly reluctant. - Darnuii: Agile, swift and built to boot! He’s an incredibly physical fighter that does his best in long encounters, able to use his high endurance to his advantage; he’s easily overwhelmed by those with a similar fighting style to himself and especially anyone smaller than him, that’s a curse. - Mel: He’s a professional Hitman so he knows his stuff, though he’s not necessarily very strong, nevertheless Mel is certainly the most dangerous and brutal of the bunch, his weakness is money. - Roe: Precise, witty, quick to act and not above fighting dirty. Roe is a force to be reckoned with but topples like a wet paper towel under a single blow, you’re facing the skinniest Charr there can be. - Seisyllt: Annoying, frustrating, clever and utterly unpredictable, Seisyllt isn’t the strongest combatant but he can be a complete pain in the ass, shocking you, freezing the odd limb, granting his enemies superspeed and watching them walk smack dab into a wall as they loose control of their own limbs, luckily he’s quite literally a twig with no ill intentions but holy heck does he have a temper when it’s needed
