I think the Rock of Eternity should be the House of Mysteries older sister.

The first time Cap goes into the HoM is when John takes half the JL there in preparation for some big Demon summoning and subsequent returning.

The enter, Cap coming in close to last cause he likes holding doors for people and only gives up because Superman refuses to be out polited and waits outside until Cap eventually walks in.

The second he enters the house he gasps a little and goes "Oh my Gods, I knew I recognized that aura. John you didnt tell me you're Home's chosen human. Oh that's so great I can't wait to tell Roe."

HoM who immediately recognized that Cap was the chosen human of his big sister and that human just outed his very embarrassing childhood nickname proceeds to open the floor under Cap and kidnap him to an alternate room to give him a stern talking to.

The JL is frozen cause like, John, Dude you said your house was sentient but hospitable, what do you mean it just took our coworker.

John, who is equally startled, just stares blankly for a moment. "Did he say Roe.... like R o E, like the motherfucking Rock of Eternity. No bloody way, House, give him back you both have some explaining to do. Christ I need a whiskey, I can't do this today"

Cap eventually get placed back with the JL, apologizing and explaining he is the Rock of Eternity's chosen human (that's her baby boy) and she told him all about her little brother HoM and, (now facing the roof, addressing the house directly) he really did not mean to startle House or use a since discontinued nickname. (Home was his nickname when he was nothing more that a child, wanting to be this welcoming place for his chosen human to hide, now as a teen [comparatively] it's so embarrassing, he is supposed to be the cool and mischievous entity, he is the House of Mysteries goddamnit) [HoM just really doesn't want to give John ammunition to tease him, he'll take and hide all his cigarettes for the next year if John starts calling him Home)

John is lowkey jealous that Cap can actually speak to HoM instead of just getting mostly vibes, not he does not tell cap that, this is his secret he will take to the grave)
