A healing bath to help with the flu! I have a terrible case of the flu right now and I've been so run down and had to miss work. I decided a little bit of magic might help! Using 'The Witch's Journal' by Selene Silverwand I came up with this little ritual for a bath, as I prefer doing my magic in water. I used: 1 part dried lavender 2 parts lavender bath salts 1 part Thyme 2 parts chamomile Stones: Lapis lazuli x2 Citrine Clear Quartz This was all added to a hot bath and I lit 2 blue candles to invoke the healing goddess Brighid. I charged a mug (as I didn't have a chalice) of water with healing energy and chanted "I charge this water for healing. May it purge my body of illness and restore me to new strength." (Comes from the book, not written by me.) I chanted his four times as that's the number I always associate with during my craft. I ran the crystals over my forehead, nose, throat and chest (problem areas) and then washed and rinsed as normal. Considering I've felt close to death the past week and I feel amazing and full of energy now with my symptoms widely reduced I would say this spell was a success!! Wanderer xXx
