It was definitely extra work and silly considering all the technology Selene had to her disposal, but when it came to reading resumes and cover letters for positions that worked directly with her, she liked the personal touch. The touch of an unforgiving red pen. She had gone through two other resumes earlier, ripped them to shreds, and had HR send polite rejection letters. But this one had been so ridiculous she had to take it home to show off.
"I have no idea what this guy is thinking. Not only is he horribly unexperienced but he's conceited. He's never worked in hospitality, though he has worked for some big companies, but he's never done anything remotely in admin! All his past roles are so clearly nepo baby spots. Like this tech company he listed, I know his father! Does this idiot think that helps? I know his father, I don't want to know him. But from his cover letter, you'd think he was the fucking CEO or cured cancer. The audacity of some people, I tell you."
