I was really feeling my look today...
For once I woke up and didn’t feel like a zombie! The weather wasn’t too bad so I wore a summery dress (with tights of course, lets not go mad). And as I was putting on my compulsory foundation only I just thought - Why the Hell not - so I put on a full face. Just neutral shades, I can’t do fancy make up but for the first time in a long time I felt really great about how I looked.
So I go into work and a few of the girls are like, wow you look great today, so I was really feeling good about myself (this is rare, btw).
Then a guy comes up to me in the kitchen and says the following, “Oooh someone’s out to impress today - what is it, a hot date or an interview?” Then some other guys came in and I’m not kidding they started a little school boy gang of Oooh, she’s all dressed up, get her!
I can’t tell you how quickly my mood nosedived. I just feel like I’m taking one step forward and ten steps back right now.
