INTRO POST: JORDAN

I may be a bit late for this, but it’s nothing new when it comes to me!

 I’m Jordan, and I’m 14 turning 15 in August, not April apparently (a very long story that is weird and kinda dumb), BUT THAT’S NOT IMPORTANT.

 My personal blog is @thirstiekirsty , my pronouns are she/her, and honestly, I’m just a mess ™.

I am too energetic for my own good, and I have a really weird sense of humour, so if you’re prepared for that, come and hit me up FAM

I’m living in the US of A currently, but I do want to travel elsewhere in time, I LOOVE music (playing it, listening to it, etc.), along with anything else in the performing arts range, and I’m a huge cat person

I joined the Self Image Squad because there are a lot of things that can happen (not just to me, to anybody really) that will lower your self-esteem and crush your spirit, and while those things might not ever go away, I want to be somebody who puts out positive vibes and encouragement for others and eventually myself.

what’s up folks! my name is emma, i’m 18, my pronouns are she/her, i’m white from the usa, and i joined this squad because i have really low self esteem and enjoy boosting the self esteem of others! 

i have serious skin problems that make it hard to wear makeup. i’ve struggled a lot with bullying, depression, anxiety, self harm, you name it, and i want to make it easier for others going through similar situations.

i also work as a peer educator in a relationship abuse prevention program, so if you have relationship questions concerning you or a friend feel free to ask me anything!!

my pronouns are she / her and i am polysexual [EDIT* i’m 15 i forgot to add that]

i was born in spain and moved to florida when i was three [ so sadly i don’t have that sexy accent what a shame ] and i am half peruvian / half spanish [ tambien hablo español pero perdona que no puedo escribir tan bien nunca hay ido a la escuela para aprender como escribir ]

i wanted to join this lovely group to make friends and spread positivity! i have problems with self image and always feel pressured by everyone around me to look a certain way. as you can see by my personal blog, even before this group, i’ve tried to spread some body positive posts to help others like me. even with all my self image problems, i push myself to accept how i look and love myself. i’ve started to try new things that i’ve always wanted to do, but never had the confidence [like get a side shave, dye my hair, wear clothes that i want ]. if you need a confidence boost or some advice feel free to message us! can’t wait for this blog to start up for real :)

INTRO POST: HEATHER

Hey everyone, I’m Heather, the founder/creator of this squad! My main blog is @theflerpyfail, and my pronouns are she/her. I’m Caucasian and American (I’m of English, Irish, and German descent, so I’m the whitest of the white). I created this squad because, like I’ve said before:

“I know a lot of people who dislike their body, be it specifically their weight or their face or their smile or everything at once. I suffer from a not super good self-image as well, and I hate seeing others suffering because of that same struggle. It’s horrible to wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and see nothing but flaws, and it’s absolutely wonderful to wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and think “dayum, you look great today!” So I’ve decided to do something to increase the latter days and decrease the former days!”

I’m very skinny, always have been, because of my very fast metabolism and genes. While most people think I’m lucky for that, and in some ways I am, there’s a downside to it that many people don’t get. Everyone is always telling you to eat a cheeseburger, to put some weight on those bones, and wrapping their hands around your wrists and arms to see if they can touch their fingers together. It’s also horrible to have people constantly comparing themselves to you and them feeling bad about themselves because they’re larger than me, to have people look at me and then say that they’re fat. I have often wished I could just gain a little weight so I could be normal, so that people wouldn’t hate themselves because of me. I also struggle with bad acne, very slight gender dysphoria, and the social repercussions of deciding not to shave.

That being said, I am on a path to a great self image, and I am learning to love myself more and more each day. I am very glad that through this squad, I may be able to help others to do the same.

Why hello there fellow humans and lizards, my pronouns are she/her. My main blog is @lesbointraining and I am 13 years old. I’m primarily German. One interesting fact about me is I’m blonde but quite the opposite of stupid contrary to my stereotype and i love plants (but not animals please don’t hurt me). The reason I wanted to join was I know how much hate is in the world and I love spreading joy and hope one day at least once in their life, everyone will receive a compliment. I have also dealt with bullies on how I act and look and hope to one day be able to stomp them out. I’m so excited to be in this squad and meet all of you! Have a wonderful day everyone! :D

Heyo I'm Mak, my pronouns are he/they. My blog is @lizardspace and im 15. I am irish and Italian i think? Idk man im just white. An intresting fact is that im in color guard and i'm currently learning korean! I wanted to join because i have a lot of self hate and love making other people happy and meetong new friends and i hope to be able to help both of those things. My parents are the main reason i feel bad. They constantly bring me down commenting on my weight, height, face, and other stuff. I also dont feel the best about my chest lol. Im bad at these man.

INTRO POST: BELLA

Helllooooo everyone! My name is Bella, I’m female and my pronouns are she/her. I’m mostly American (i’m white)  but I’m also Italian (Parlo un po d’italiano). I live in the USA (sadly, the USA is a wreck). I am bisexual and taken by my amazing gf Aliiii. I love to act and I am a small YouTuber. I play guitar in my band and I love to write.

I wanted to join the squad because I’ve dealt with self/body issues since I was young and I’m slowly accepting my body. I wanna make sure everyone knows how beautiful/handsome they actually are. I’ve been bullied for the hair all over my body (italian heritage) since I was as young as 5. I look more feminine now, but that doesn’t change the fact that my arm hair is so long you can braid it, and I have to shave and/or pluck my eyebrows on the daily. I’ve struggled with weight issues as well, but I’m getting over it.
