Since a lot of people liked the "lets do this" picture - finished product ;)
The parting is still bugging me a bit (you have to comb it perfectly to cover the glue spots underneath), But other than that I'm happy with it. Now onto styling it :<
By the way - that particular Suri Alpaca is so insanely soft that its hard to make it look completely even, lol. And I've only used like 1/3 of the 1oz for her wig :D yay.
Haha, and my second try with soy + black hair color resulted in dark purple too x,D But oh well. I guess it suits him good :)
He's coming along. now only lashes + tattoos + scars missing :D
(Still no news about Silas head and Altis body *sigh* stuck in transit. Meh.)
Holy frack these eyes. I'll never need Photoshop to lighten them up again, lol. Since they're probably won't fit Silas I think she can keep them for now.
Speaking of Silas - worked on his tattoos. The ones on his back are from his pact with a demon (long story), the one on his lower arm (and the rest that will eventually follow) are regular tattoos.
And Mea again - I've made a wig. Yeah not as nice and straight -but fluffy!- as my regular wigs, but oh well... thats fiber. I got a little collection of 1meter wefts from taobao (they are like... 1$ each), and decided to finally do something with them - tooke me nearly 2 wefts for that fluffy thing. Can't decide if its more 'Merida in white' or 'Daenerys in the wind'.
Ha yeah and last but not least, I organized my shoe collection xD
Lillian got her own wig :D Yay. The short light blue one is nice, but not... really what I'm looking for. I like my girls with long hair.
So- tested out milk fiber for this one. I've worked with Soy fiber, SeaCells, Ramie and Suri Alpaca before - Milk is similar to Soy, soft, doesn't frizz, easy to work with and not super long. Only small downside is that its a bit.. semitransparent, so the wig needs to be a bit thicker, otherwise you'll be able to see the glue patches.
Other news - Altairs body and Silas head are shipped and Anju will be shipped tomorrow. So new doll pictures will come either at the end of next week or the week after ^v^ Yuma (the Aquariusdoll Chloe I ordered a week ago) will probably arrive mid-January or something - plenty of time to look for clothes and eyes.
Can't wait to make group pictures again :D
