I wish I had more friends that were supportive, I’d love to be supportive of someone and their f/o, and have them support me and mine- as an artist that’d be fun for crossover art too... but I haven’t met anyone who’s kind- or even been to far in this community yet. It makes me sad

Its tough. Only a small handful of people know that I do self insert art. Hell, even my parents know that I do this (thats because I post on Instagram and some on Facebook). You just gotta keep an eye out for those you trust fully and that they will accept your interests. You have a family here at selfshipconfess, never forget that. If you want to talk, gush, spaz, geek out, etc. about your favorite character, just contact me or the other mods. We’ll listen!

Everyone else: having fun with their f/os. Me, an underachieving uggo: he will never love me. Why do I torment myself like this.

Heya anon! Mod Panda here again! I sympathize with you deeply; sometimes when I think about my f/o’s, I sometimes become down and self-loathing of myself, thinking that no one will ever love me so why should fictional characters?

The problem to this solution: just breathe. Get rid of all the nasty thoughts out and fill them with good thoughts! Do something that will get all the anger and sadness out and you will end up feeling tons better about yourself! Cry if you must! Its completely normal!!

I sometimes listen to this song by Jonny Diaz because it teaches a good message. Just take a breath and you will realize that you can do this and you can be loved!
