Obsidian Beach With @selinswonderland
Tej had not seen her since they dragged those fools from the water, on the other side of the island. In all the chaos and confusion, they hadn't exchanged names. Not exactly the time for introductions. Now, still nameless but Tej heard much more about her than she probably realized.
He waited for them to get closer before calling out. "Saw the guy we took to the Medicentre the other day." He took, Tej the one who did the literal heavy lifting. "Seems to be doing well." Had a nasty limp, but. "Better than the person who... exploded." Brand new sentence. Did she see it happen? He felt a certain relief in missing it himself.
Tej stood up from the rock he'd been sitting on and dusted sand from his hands. Weird shit was happening to everyone, not just the woman who disintegrated in such a dramatic way. Horrifying. What the hell was happening to them?
"Something's happened to you too. Heard you..." He refrained from saying a grower not a shower, but faintly smiled anyway. "Changed size, or something." His brows pulled tight with another important question about clothing but Tej decided to keep it himself. "What happened then, I mean. How did it happen?"
