in a lot of the comics he's pretty clearly portrayed as a poc, so they're white washing him and it's really gross. also i just think it's really lazy casting choice tbh. he's a good actor, but i just don't think he's right for the character. i think they just picked him because they know he has a huge fanbase.

why are we fucking urban outfitters?

they're extremely racist and culturally appropriative, they've stolen multiple etsy users' designs and reproduced them without credit, they used extremely revealing photos of an 15-year-old model against her will (she later sued them), they've sold products glorifying depression and eating disorders, they made a women's t-shirt with the words "eat less" on it, lots and lots of other stuff i'm probably forgetting. basically they're really gross.
